Oscar Contenders: Technical Categories, Part 1

Sophia and Nick are excited to dive deeper into some Below-The-Line categories in the latest installment of the Oscar Contenders series. In each of the five categories, they share a write-in vote, who they think should win, and who they think will ultimately take home the Oscar.

They dive into the brand new merged category, Best Sound (1:23), Best Original Song (15:54), and Best Score (23:25). Then they talk about their favorite styles nominated for Best Costume Design (34:07) - with a nod to their previous Disney+ episode and their thoughts on “Mulan’s chances getting nominated.
