The Thai side subsequently deployed the Cavalry Battalion Task Forced to conduct counter operations and clear Cambodian positions. During these operations, several Cambodian soldiers surrendered without displaying any threatening posture or

surgical treatment at the hospital. Additionally, two fatalities were discovered in the area.
