Episode description

Elbe began making edibles as a way to provide a non-smoking option for a friend's mother who battled cancer. Relying on old recipes and a strong understanding of baking, Elbe's crafted treats aims to mask any unwanted herbal flavor, making the consumption experience more pleasant. Elbe's journey wasn't easy. With roots in law enforcement, having served as a sheriff's deputy for 15 years, Elbe witnessed firsthand the failures of the war on drugs. Elbe believes in the power of a patient-centric approach to her work. Beyond just a business owner, she's a passionate advocate and a symbol of resilience in Oregon. Filmed in 2015
