The Trump administration has put on hold plans to impose a 50% tariff on all goods from Europe. While talks between the EU and US have been positive, the issue has yet to be fully resolved. In the first segment, hosts Cameron Abadi and Adam Tooze look at the 236 billion dollar trade deficit between the US and EU and discuss the future of trade between the two powers.
In the second segment, this year is the 60th anniversary of the classic film "The Sound of Music" starring Julie Andrews. To commemorate the anniversary, Adam and Cameron look at the history of the real von Trapp family as well as the economic impact the film has had on tourism in the town of Salzburg, Austria.
