(upbeat music) You're listening to One Minute Podcast Tips. I'm your host, Danny Brown. And each episode brings you snack-sized tips to be a better podcaster. And if you enjoy the show, you can now support with a one-off donation at oneminutepodcasttips.com/support. And now, this week's episode. Back in episode one, I talked about how many apps your podcast should be on.
And at the time, I mentioned that you want to be on as many as possible to make it as easy as possible for your listeners to listen on their preferred podcast app, whether that's Apple Podcasts, Spotify etc. But from an indie podcaster point of view, one of the apps I do recommend getting on is Goodpods.
There's both a mobile and web version and what I really like about Goodpods is yes it's an app that has all podcasts on there or all podcasts that are currently published to Apple, since Goodpods uses the Apple API, but what they also do is they're very much geared towards the indie podcaster. Instead of just having charts for all podcasts they have indie specific charts so you can toggle between all shows or just indie podcasts which really helps indie podcasts get
discovered more. They've also got some great features like podcast Q&A as well as podcaster Q&A that really lets you tell people about you and your shows. They've also just released lists which is great for creating lists of your top five favorite podcasts in topic X or topic Y but the cool thing is your
podcast goes at the top of this list. So if your podcast is a podcast about podcasts, for example like One Minute Podcast Tips, I can create a list like what I have done on Goodpods and also share five podcasts I listen to that talk about podcasting tips and insights and more. Again it's a really cool way to really share the podcast you're listening to, but also get your own podcast out there and in front of other listeners. You can check out Goodpods at
Goodpods.com or download their app for iOS or Android. Until the next time, happy podcasting. If you're enjoying One Minute Podcast Tips, leave a review at oneminutepodcasttips.com/review and help others like you find the show too. Until the next time, happy podcasting. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
