(upbeat music) I'm Danny Brown, and you're listening to One Minute Podcast Tips, the show that helps you be a better podcaster in just a minute a week. If you want more specific tips just for you in your podcast, check out the Magic Mic membership at oneminutepodcasttips.com/support. And now, this week's episode. Over the last 12 months, AI or artificial intelligence has become really popular in podcasting.
from using it for transcripts and editing, to creating full show notes, social media shares and more. There's no question that AI has made a podcaster's life a lot easier when it comes to some production tasks. But there can be a danger of overusing AI. So what's the best way to use it? Well, personally, I would always use it as a go-to and a starting place for your own creativity. So for example, episode ideas, episode titles, questions for guests, topics to discuss, that kind of stuff.
All that stuff can really help you get your creative juices flowing and make it easier to come up with ideas when you're struggling with them. What you don't want to do is just leave everything to AI. So the episode title idea, leaving it as it is, the show notes description, social media posts etc. Because the problem there is it's not really in your
voice or your character. Now it may work for you and there's nothing wrong with that but personally I feel that can cheat your listeners a little bit because they want you and your personality. So yeah by all means use AI but use it properly and sparingly. It should complement you, not replace you. Until the next time, happy podcasting. Thanks for listening.
