(upbeat music) I'm Danny Brown, and you're listening to One Minute Podcast Tips, the show that helps you be a better podcaster in just a minute a week. If you want more specific tips just for you and your podcast, check out the Magic Mic membership at oneminutepodcasttips.com/support. And now, this week's episode. (upbeat music) Due to the way podcasts are consumed, which is usually on an app that doesn't allow for comments, it can be hard to get feedback from your listeners.
However, there are two really simple ways to encourage this. The first one is SpeakPipe. SpeakPipe is a voice recording app that you can add to any website or you get a landing page that SpeakPipe provides, and that allows listeners to record a voice message and send that to you. Once you receive the message, you can record your own and send it back via the email that the listener used. It's a really cool way to get two-way voice messages between you and your listeners.
There's a free plan that allows for unlimited messages and up to 90 seconds of recording time, and there's also a couple of pro plans as well. The other one is Podgagement. Now Podgagement primarily makes it super easy to encourage reviews for your podcast and track these reviews and ratings globally across all apps. However, there's also a voice and written feedback section.
Much like Speakpipe, this allows listeners to record a voice message and send it to you, but it also gives you written feedback. So if a listener doesn't want to send you a voice message, they can send you a comment instead via the feedback page on Podgagement. There are two plans to Podgagement, Astro and Constellation, and if you want the voice and written feedback options, you would have to be on the Constellation plan.
But it's pretty inexpensive, and again, like I say, it has got extra features to track ratings and reviews, as well as leave direct reviews on a landing page. And I'll leave links to both Speakpipe and Podgagement in the show notes, so be sure to check them out on your podcast app. Until the next time, happy podcasting. (upbeat music) Thanks for listening.
