Danny:Find all the latest episodes at OneMinutePodcastTips.com or free wherever you get podcasts.
Danny:And now, this week's episode. When it comes to getting more reviews for your podcast, the first thing you've got to do is make sure your show is worth reviewing.
Danny:Now that might sound obvious, but you've got to think of the listener's experience every time, so when it comes to asking for reviews, they'll answer.
Danny:One of the first things to do is just ask your friends and family to review your show, to get you off and running. Work colleagues too, and online connections.
Danny:Next, make sure to ask for reviews on your show. A simple call to action like, "Hey, if you're enjoying the show, be sure to leave a review to help others find it too."
Danny:One of the best ways to get more reviews is by using something like My Podcast Reviews. I use this, and it makes it super easy to encourage reviews by giving you a landing page to send listeners to, where they can choose what app they want to leave a review on. You can then share these reviews online, offering great social proof for your show.
Danny:You can see an example of my page by going to oneminutepodcasttips.com/review. Now let's go get these reviews.
Danny:Thanks for listening. If you're enjoying One Minute Podcast Tips, be sure to leave a five star rating or review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, and help others find the show. Until next time, happy podcasting.
