(upbeat music) You're listening to One Minute Podcast Tips. I'm your host, Danny Brown, and each episode helps you be a better podcaster. Find all the latest episodes at oneminutepodcasttips.com or free wherever you get podcasts. And now, this week's episode. When it comes to your podcast website, how many apps should you have on there? After all, making it easy for listeners to follow your show helps it grow, and having podcast apps on your website makes it easier to follow on these apps.

So how many should you have on there and which ones? Generally I go for less is more. So maybe two or three podcast apps and the RSS feed. And because they're the two most popular podcast apps, Apple Podcasts and Spotify would be my two choices. If I was to use a third app, I'd look at my analytics and see which one's been listened to. So it may be Pocket Casts, GoodPods, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, whichever one's the most popular after Apple and Spotify, I may put that up as well.

The reason for keeping the apps to just two or three is to a) avoid clutter and b) confusion. And that's where the RSS feed comes in. If a listener doesn't listen on Apple or Spotify, they can use the RSS feed and add it to their own preferred app. Keep it simple, keep it easy to listen. Until the next time, happy podcasting.
