(upbeat music) You're listening to One Minute Podcast Tips. I'm your host, Danny Brown, and each episode helps you be a better podcaster. Find all the latest episodes at oneminutepodcasttips.com or free, wherever you get podcasts. And now, this week's episode. One of the questions I see a lot of online for new podcasters especially, is how many episodes to launch a new show with.
And the answers I see can be varied from just the one episode of your trailer to 10 episodes so people can binge on it. And to be honest the answer is maybe somewhere in between. A good idea is to launch a trailer before the main podcast launch. That way you can make sure your show is approved on various podcast apps and you can use it as a teaser and promo slot for the upcoming show. After that, generally about 2-3 episodes is really good.
That way you're giving new listeners a taste of your show but you're not overwhelming them with too many episodes that they'll lose interest or make them think I don't have time for this at the moment. Remember, podcast listeners time is finite, so yes, get them interested but don't overwhelm them. Until the next time, happy podcasting.
