Foreign Terry Cook and you are listening to the One Minute Driving Instructor Tips Podcast, the show that helps you become a better adi in under two minutes. Now today is tip number 57 and I want to talk to you about the importance of joining an association. See, there's nothing worse than feel like you're fighting the good fight alone. But being part of the ADINJSC connects you to like minded instructors who are actually interested in the bigger picture and improving the industry.
The ADI NJC run training courses, webinars, conferences, local meetings and more, all aimed at helping driving instructors develop. It's not just CPD for the sake of it, it's the kind of support that can actually help instructors earn more, teach better and stay compliant. Now, the NJC isn't just a talking shop. They've got direct lines, the dvsa, government bodies and key stakeholders, as well as being members of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety.
So when changes to regulations or industry policies are being discussed, the NJC is one of the few bodies actually sat at the table fighting the corner of us driving instructors. Now it's only £4.50amonth to join, or £2.50 if you're a member of the Instructor Premium and you'll find a link in the show Notes. Now, I hope you found this tip useful and for more advice on becoming a better ADI hit, subscribe and join me Mondays on the One Minute Driving Instructor Tips Podcast.
