On this episode, Ameé speaks with Michael Anthony. Michael is an author, mentor, and advocate for adult survivors of child abuse, trauma, and CPTSD. Growing up as a biracial child with racist family members, abused by drug-addicted parents, and battling his own addictions, Michael found a way to turn his life around and now his not just a trauma survivor but a Trauma Warrior, on a mission to help others do the same. In 2019, he published his book Think Unbroken: Understanding and Overcoming Childhood Trauma, and has developed workshops and coaching based on his approach to healing.
