Episode description

Tara Schwitter played soccer at the University of Miami from 2010-2013, and then joined the Miami basketball team for the 2014 season.  Tara talks about growing up in New Jersey in a large, athletic family, attending Immaculate Heart Academy and playing varsity in both soccer and basketball as a freshman, and her soccer team being ranked #1 in the country.  She also discusses the recruiting process, choosing Miami, and how a tough decision ended her last season of high school basketball.  Tara describes playing in the highly decorated Atlantic Coast Conference, playing against current USWNT players, her mindset of being a facilitator on the field, being a player that would take penalty kicks, and finally getting the chance to end her basketball career on her own terms when Miami was in need of another point guard.
