Scott Martin played basketball for the University of Notre Dame from 2008-2013 and played 5 seasons professionally overseas.  He is currently the Development and Recruiting Coordinator for the Notre Dame Men's Basketball Team.  Scott talks about growing up in Valparaiso, Indiana, how he got into basketball, his AAU career, and his great career at Valparaiso High School.  He describes the recruiting process, playing for Purdue his Freshman year, and his decision to transfer to Notre Dame.  He then describes sitting out 2 years in a row due to transferring and tearing his ACL, finally being about to play for the 2010-2011 season, making a deep run in the Big East Tournament, the incredible turnaround in the 2012 season, and his good relationship with Head Coach Mike Brey.  Scott discusses getting a 6th year of eligibility but the season being cut short by another knee injury, his great 5 year career overseas playing in England and the Czech Republic, how he became a coach for Notre Dame, going from playing for Mike Brey to coaching with him, and the changes to the program since he was player.
