Episode description

Katherine Hamilton played basketball at the University of San Diego from 2013-2017.  She talks about moving from Elk Grove, Illinois  to  Chandler, Arizona at a young age, how she got into basketball, playing with the boys, and being the only person in her family into the sport.  She discusses her great career at Dobson High School where she remains close to her coach, the recruiting process, and why she chose San Diego.  Katherine describes playing in the West Coast Conference, the difficulties of being a Mid-Major, the success San Diego had during her career, her great defensive mindset, and hitting the game-winning shot on Senior Night.  She then talks about what she's been up to since graduating, why she decided not to play overseas, coaching in her free time, and what she hopes to accomplish in her career.
