Episode description

Jordan Pagano wrestled his Freshman year at Penn State in 2015  before transferring to Rutgers University where he wrestled from 2016-2020, and now works as the Administrative Assistant for the Rutgers Wrestling program.  He talks about growing up in South Brunswick, New Jersey, rooting for Rutgers in sports as a kid, and how he got into wrestling.  Jordan then explains his career at South Brunswick High School, his decision to transfer to Bergen Catholic, and the success the program has had under Coach Dave Bell.  He describes his recruiting process, why he chose Penn State, his Freshman season there, and why he decided to transfer back home to Rutgers.  Jordan then describes his 5 years at Rutgers, the injuries he went through, the fantastic 2020 season that was cut short due to COVID-19, and his disappointment to not get one more shot at an NCAA Title as he was wrestling in memory of his best friend, Sam Cali.  He explains how he got his current job with the team, what it entails, and how he thinks Rutgers will be in 2021.
