Episode description

Carlie Needles Miller played basketball at the University of Florida from 2012-2016.  Carlie talks about growing up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, the talent in that area, attending ThunderRidge High School which has a rich girl's basketball tradition, and playing club basketball for the Colorado Hoopsters and Cal Storm.  She explains why she chose to play at Florida, what it was like being so far from home, tearing her ACL her freshman year, and her relationship with then head coach Amanda Butler.  She talks about some of the highlights of her playing career which include playing in the NCAA Tournament, playing in a Thanksgiving tournament in her home state, winning a game at Tennessee without her head coach, and hitting a program record 9 three pointers in a game.  She also talks about meeting her husband Karl while at Florida and her current life in Chicago, Illinois.
