Episode description

Barb Sullivan played lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame from 2012-2016, was a three-time All American, and played Professional Women's Lacrosse for the Philadelphia Force.  Barb talks about growing up in Garden City, New York, how big lacrosse is on Long Island, how she got into lacrosse, and playing soccer and basketball as well.  She describes her Garden City High School career where she earned 12 Varsity letters, winning a state championship in soccer, being named Nassau County Player of the Year in basketball, and being named an Under Armour All-American in lacrosse.  Barb details her recruiting process, why she chose Notre Dame, playing for U-19 USA team before college, playing right away as a Freshman, moving from the Big East Conference to the ACC Conference, getting injured and having to redshirt her Junior year, being a Tewaaraton finalist, being a three-year captain, and making it to the Elite Eight her 5th year.  She then discusses her time in the WPLL, joining the coaching staff at Ohio State in 2017, and now working in the Athletics Department at Notre Dame.
