Episode description

Amber Henson played basketball at Duke from 2012-2016, had 6 knee surgeries, and missed 2 years before finally being able to play as a Junior.  Amber talks about growing up in a household that rooted for rival North Carolina, her brother, John Henson, playing basketball at UNC,  moving from Texas to Florida during her high school years, and what it was about Duke that led her to commit there.  She then goes on to discuss coming to Duke with knee issues, dealing with all of those surgeries, but then defying the odds after doctors told her the knee issues were career-ending, and getting back on the court.  Amber has a unique perspective of the Duke vs. UNC rivalry that is discussed as well.
