Title: Spy Game
Season & Episode: Season 1, Episode 13
Original Airdate: October 13, 2018 (ABC Kids)
Writer: Joe Brumm
Key Families: The Heelers, Border Collies, Dalmatians, and Beagles.
The Synopsis
While their parents host a BBQ at the park, Bluey and her friends engage in an elaborate "spy game". They build a "device" intended to control the adults, utilizing "samples" (hair) and "potion-grass".
The game hits a snag when Bingo (code-named "Sparkleshot") needs a bathroom break. Frustrated that the game is stalling, Bluey tells Bingo she can no longer play. However, the group quickly realizes that without Bingo's specific "potion-making" skills, their device fails to work properly. Following a "rock allegory" from Bandit about the pack hierarchy, Bluey learns to value Bingo's role and invites her back to lead the final "attack".

Noted "Bloopers" for Discussion
Teleporting Bandit: During the scene where the kids try to control Chilli, Bandit is seen at the BBQ despite technically still being at the bathroom with Bingo.
The Eye Patch Swap: When Chilli pours a drink on the BBQ fire, her signature brown eye patch briefly flips from her right eye to her left.
Static Mouths: When Mackenzie's Dad says, "Nice one, Bandit," his mouth doesn't actually move.
Discussion Question for the Audience: Bandit's "dog-pack-hierarchy" speech went right over Bluey’s head—how do you usually explain the importance of teamwork to the "Blueys" in your own life?
