Episode description

Today's guest is a Lieutenant Colonel Joshua "Cabo" Gunderson with the Nevada Air National Guard and former combat pilot.

Originally from Tampa Florida, after graduating high school he attended the United States Air Force Academy. After graduating with degrees in geospatial science and Spanish he went on to record well over 1500 hours as a combat proven fighter pilot with multiple deployments to the Middle East in both the F-15 and F-22. He finished his active duty career serving as the F-22 Demonstration Team Commander and Pilot and flew in multiple air shows both here in the US and abroad including a flyover at the 2022 Superbowl.

We got to pick his brain about what made him want to join the Air Force, what pilot training was like, and whether or not you can listen to music in a fighter jet. We also discussed the importance of leadership, including what he's learned from his time in the military and how he's been able to apply it in civilian life. INDULGE!!!!
