Episode description

We often hear of media-reported violence and now we Chicagoans hear of incidents where Illinois-licensed concealed carry holders are defending themselves in attacks against them, their families, or their property. But, there is rarely an After-Action Review (AAR). Why are AARs important? Well, in combat, anything that works to stop a deadly threat works, right? Well, depends. Yep. It worked. But, did it work because you were lucky? Was the bad guy operating to unlawfully kill you on an off or non-peak day? Will it work again? Can we always improve? Will you always do it right? AARs or What Would Mike Do?) WWMDs give you a perspective to analyze possible shortcomings and areas to improve from and in while praising what was done correctly. In the spirit of continuing that end, let’s examine the above incidents.
