Niko Lukoff and the Island of Displaced Comedians
Episode description
Niko Lukoff is a comedian in Nampa, , Idaho, but he's made his name by starting a Facebook group page, Displaced Comedians, which has become a great resource for thousands of jokesters without a home during the pandemic. Created in mid-April, Displaced Comedians has about 4,000 members and has become a database for open mics and online shows all over the world. A traveling salesman, Lukoff started doing comedy in August 2019, so he's been learning through Zoom, but has already picked up a hosting spot at Flappers Comedy Club's open mic based out of Los Angeles.
