Brooke Barsell is a comedian and producer in Omaha, Neb., who's been doing stand-up for three years. She decided improv wasn't for her after a couple years and wanted to tell her own story. Now she's doing that at the Omaha Fringe Festival, where she's doing an hour on Aug. 13, 14 and 15. She'll also be at the Omaha Comedy Festival between Sept. 2 and Sept. 5. During the pandemic, she co-hosted the Anarchy Open Mic every Friday and ran the Contagious: The Stay at Home Comedy Show. She hosts weekly mics at the Backline and the Dunbliner Pub and co-hosts the Brooke and Brenda Morning Talk Show. She spent seven years as a competitive cheerleader and she's a certified yoga instructor and substitute teacher.
