Gibbons is commentator for wrestling duals on the Big Ten Network. He coached Iowa State to an NCAA team championship in 1987, and was an individual NCAA champion for the Cyclones in 1981.
Nancy Schultz is the widow of 1984 Olympic wrestling champion Dave Schultz. Both are portrayed in the film “Foxcatcher,” which is currently in theaters.
