Episode 5: Travis Demers (Portland Trail Blazers)

Travis Demers moved from New York to Oregon for his first job in sports broadcasting. He hasn't left since. After working in a multitude of roles around the state of Oregon, Demers finally landed a fill-in gig with the Portland Trail Blazers, a role that lead him to call the Western Conference Finals this past May before transitioning into the full time job with the Blazers this season. In Episode 5 of the On the Air Podcast, Travis talks growing up listening to WFAN at night, moving to Oregon straight out of college to pursue his career, making connections in the Oregon media industry and of course, calling play by play for the Portland Trail Blazers.
