Episode Notes

In this week’s episode hosts Ariana Arenson and South Wallace discuss the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. We hear from professors and faculty with backgrounds in Public Policy and Global Affairs to learn about the recent events and what U.Va. has provided as informational resources. While some students are looking to engage with the news, for others, this is a reality they have no choice but to facing. With interviews from Russian student Olya Feldberg and Ukrainian students Lisa Kopelnik, Varvara Isaieva and Anna Sviripa we hear about their and their family’s experiences and the importance of their Ukrainian ties.
