Episode description

In this Justyna Green podcast episode, I speak to Alice Black, co-director of the Design Museum. We talk about the future of design as presented in the Beazley Designs of the Year exhibition. Now in its eleventh year, the exhibition is the Design Museum's annual celebration of the most original and exciting products, concepts and designers in the world today. Together with Alice, we discover the leading ideas featuring in this year's exhibition, from the newly-developed materials, innovative ways of managing scarce resources, playful designs for all ages and local communities claiming new spaces for themselves.
