An Ohio Mysteries/Akron Beacon Journal crossoverIn 1963, 15-year-old Tommy Sumerix of Green and 12-year-old Ruth Guthrie of Tallmadge disappeared from their community streets within one week of each other. Widespread organized searches failed to turn up a shred of evidence as to what had happened.
