Ep. 164 - What sank the Sultana?

In April of 1865, more than 2100 Union soldiers were finally on their way home, having been released from southern prison camps at the conclusion of the Civil War. But as the grossly overloaded Sultana steamship chugged up the Mississippi, it exploded, killing most of those on board.
