Today, many Americans shop for a good deal, but not necessarily for themselves. They want a good deal for workers, the environment and other factors. There are lots of names, but for today we’ll call them socially conscious consumers. Who are they and what implications might there be for farmers, businesses and the rest of the consuming public?
