[SPEAKER_02]: a factual data creation facility production. [SPEAKER_02]: In a world where some podcasts make millions of dollars, I bring you the OF&T podcast, which isn't one of them. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, here's your host, Jim Schafer. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to episode 317, which I'm calling, Tax Man Blues. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, the 15th of April is a tax day here in United States, and my bank account is lighter as a result. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, there's a new piece of tech in the house.

[SPEAKER_01]: And nothing major, and I'm still getting used to it. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll be telling you about this mystery tech in the tech I'm using section. [SPEAKER_01]: As your week been, mine, not so great. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, the tax man come in and has taken away. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's get rolling here. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes! [SPEAKER_01]: To act news, this first story arrived on to my news feeds early Friday morning.

[SPEAKER_01]: The item is from 95 Google and has since been picked up by most Android-centric news sites. [SPEAKER_01]: The article states that based on the study of Android 17 APK files, which our Android files use for AMPSIN, Android itself, that they've found computer code that points to Google developing [SPEAKER_01]: And what's being called pixel glow lights?

[SPEAKER_01]: The purpose of these glow lights are described as subtle light and color on the back of your device to inform you of important activities when it's faced down. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, my old nookiest did something like this. [SPEAKER_01]: Back in what I firmly believe was... [SPEAKER_01]: The day. [SPEAKER_01]: These days I know that the nothing phone line up does something similar to this also.

[SPEAKER_01]: Google's version of this old trick is being pitched as a way of having hands-free interaction with a device using visual feedback. [SPEAKER_01]: To examples of this, which were given by the [SPEAKER_01]: Being that this has appeared in the still beta code of Android 17, the article predicts that glow lights will appear on the next pixel phone models, and on a new pixel laptop. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yes, well, at least see talking to Gemini function of the glow lights.

[SPEAKER_01]: The APK code also refers to a pixel laptop, though no other details of it were given. [SPEAKER_01]: The prediction of a new pixel laptop is based on a IC laptop icon light icon that appears in the code. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's kind of what's called a leap of faith, but interesting nonetheless. [SPEAKER_01]: I tend to agree that Google is, in fact, working on a pixel laptop.

[SPEAKER_01]: It makes sense considering Google's so far-unrelease aluminium operating system and Android desktop initiatives. [SPEAKER_01]: When Google was heavily pushing Chrome for adoption, the company did what they had previously done for Android phones with the Nexus line, and with the Chromebook Pixel back in 2013. [SPEAKER_01]: The main problem was with its price. [SPEAKER_01]: The base model. [SPEAKER_01]: Pixelbook costs $1,000 in the top of the line version went for $1,700.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wow! [SPEAKER_01]: Back then, you can get your sofa a MacBook Air for less and a fairly beefy MacBook Pro for the same price as the high-end version of the Pixel book. [SPEAKER_01]: So expect a Google to release this new Pixel laptop alongside the launch of Aluminium OS. [SPEAKER_01]: For Google's sake, I hope they don't doom the computer by launching it at too high of a price. [SPEAKER_01]: As far as the glow light thing, well that sounds more gimmicky than useful to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like the great RAM memory shortage of 2026 has finally made it down to the consumer market. [SPEAKER_01]: You know the old saying? [SPEAKER_01]: A certain human waste product always rolls downhill. [SPEAKER_01]: This memory shortage has been caused by the explosion of AI use and the building of mega data centers to support this increased use. [SPEAKER_01]: In other words, AI is hogging up the memory industry to output.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: Sort of like the Google Chrome browser does to personal computer memory. [SPEAKER_01]: I can see the parallel. [SPEAKER_01]: This past week's news feeds were overflowing with stories about various smartphone manufacturers increasing their prices. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that recall Motorola was the first major manufacturer to do this? [SPEAKER_01]: Much like streaming services, all it takes is for one company to raise prices.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then, others fall in line and do the same. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess no company wants to be the first to raise prices, but once it's forced to do so, the floodgate's open up. [SPEAKER_01]: According to an article from AppleInsider.com, Microsoft has stepped up to become the first major computer manufacturer to raise prices. [SPEAKER_01]: The company's surface lineup of laptops are getting price bumps with some model configurations rising by $500.

[SPEAKER_01]: Even the budget-friendly Surface Pro 12-inch laptop received a $250 price increase. [SPEAKER_01]: Not so, budget-friendly now, is it? [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: So far, the giant fruit company has enraged prices on any of its computers, but, like, smart phones before them, the floodgates are now fully open. [SPEAKER_01]: I predict that as new models of Apple devices are released, we can expect their prices to increase.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, let me put this prediction in the book. [SPEAKER_01]: But as the article points out, until then Apple computers will be perceived as being of a better value, the price increase trend will continue until one of two things happen. [SPEAKER_01]: Either the memory manufacturing companies catch up, or the AI bubble bursts. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping that the latter doesn't happen, but in my opinion, that scenario is the most likely.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't think that what has been labeled as AI will be going anywhere. [SPEAKER_01]: But is it really artificial intelligence? [SPEAKER_01]: What we really have here is supercharged machine learning that has been labeled as something more exciting. [SPEAKER_01]: Why would they do that? [SPEAKER_01]: To sell more stuff, that's why. [SPEAKER_01]: I already see falling off of confidence in AI as the product has a tendency of hallucinating, giving false answers.

[SPEAKER_01]: YouTube, podcasting indexes and many other industries have moved to a ban which being called AI SLOW. [SPEAKER_01]: And there is now a cottage industry being built around detecting whether something has been generated by using AI. [SPEAKER_01]: With video audio and writing now being put under the microscope, [SPEAKER_01]: We'll just have to sit back and see how all this shakes out. [SPEAKER_01]: In the meantime, us peasants will be paying more for the technology we use.

[SPEAKER_01]: Since Google decided to stop making Chromecast TV donggles, no entity has so far stepped up to the plate to fill that void. [SPEAKER_01]: Well according to AndroidBelice.com, other than Wallyworld, better known as Walmart is stepping up.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now no Chromecast replacement has been announced by Walmart yet, but the intotubes have been filled with leak specs and images of a whole lineup of streaming devices all under [SPEAKER_01]: I've purchased a couple of on-branded products in the past. [SPEAKER_01]: Most recently a soundbar from my television. [SPEAKER_01]: Well not the best quality products out there, they're better than the other cheap Chinese made examples.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're in the Google ecosystem a fan of Google TV or just plain stingy, just know on has a product for you. [SPEAKER_01]: These products range from a streaming stick up to a streaming box in these specs are pretty good. [SPEAKER_01]: You do get a lot of value for money that you spend. [SPEAKER_01]: Now how long will these devices last and how many firmware updates will they be getting? [SPEAKER_01]: Your guess is as good as mine.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be sticking with the world garden ecosystem of Apple and grudgingly keeping the Apple tax that comes along with it. [SPEAKER_01]: I have numerous Apple TVs, well actually three of them, and while they're four more years old each, they keep getting better with each software update, and I consider that money will spend. [SPEAKER_01]: Last year saw Google's Android sort of, throw in the towel.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about Apple's AirDrop feature that Google countered with its own quick-share feature. [SPEAKER_01]: Both allow users to share files and things via their phones without having to use messaging apps or email to do so. [SPEAKER_01]: I really use AirDrop, but I guess this feature is popular because last year, Big G made their own quick-share [SPEAKER_01]: And they did this without collaboration with Apple.

[SPEAKER_01]: The first Android phones compatible with AirDrop where Google's Pixel phones will actually Pixel phone 9 and later. [SPEAKER_01]: 9 to 5 google.com is reporting that good old Samsung has hopped aboard the AirDrop train, starting with the Galaxy S24 phone and later.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this includes the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7. [SPEAKER_01]: You might recall my theory about both iOS and Android eventually melding into one mobile operating system that will eventually be controlled by government entities. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I offer this as further a proof of that. [SPEAKER_01]: If you recall, last week or perhaps it was two episodes ago, why don't you just look it up? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: That would require I actually do something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I reported that the United States Federal Communications Commission, better known as the FCC, banned the sale of all routers that are far-made from the U.S. market. [SPEAKER_01]: This decision was arrived at after some intense lobbying led by U.S. based Annette Gear. [SPEAKER_01]: So guess who just received approval from the FCC for their routers? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, don't tell me. [SPEAKER_01]: Net gear? [SPEAKER_01]: Correct.

[SPEAKER_01]: This ban was primarily directed at TP link, which manufactured its products in China. [SPEAKER_01]: As does Net gear, if I may point that out to you? [SPEAKER_01]: T.P. [SPEAKER_01]: link is a Chinese company, but has since moved its headquarters to the United States. [SPEAKER_01]: So technically, T.P. [SPEAKER_01]: link is a U.S. company.

[SPEAKER_01]: Reasons for this ban was presented as security-based, but the actual reason is that T.P. [SPEAKER_01]: link sells their products for $100 less than their U.S. counterparts, and because of this, they dominate the market. [SPEAKER_01]: Now it will be interesting to see if the FCC will approve TP link network in the future. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they'll have to.

[SPEAKER_01]: If I was the CEO of TP link, I'd start manufacturing routers in the United States and sell them for what U.S. competitors charge or for slightly lower. [SPEAKER_01]: That would make TP link products unbannable in my uneducated opinion. [SPEAKER_01]: Next year, and its fellow lobbyists accused Heapy Link of undercutting their prices for a loss in order to gain market share, and that's probably true. [SPEAKER_01]: But banning Heapy Link is the wrong way to go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Security experts have come to the conclusion that Heapy Link routers are no more vulnerable to security issues and domestic companies routers. [SPEAKER_01]: This whole situation should have been handled by the Federal Trade Commission. [SPEAKER_01]: This next story is based on two articles from the 9-5 Mac website. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple is rumored to be coming out with a redesigned Macbook pro-lator this year.

[SPEAKER_01]: This new Macbook Pro will feature an OLED display along with an M6 Apple silicon chip. [SPEAKER_01]: The new OLED display is supposed to also feature a dynamic island instead of the current notch of today's Macbook Pro lineup. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm all for that. [SPEAKER_01]: What's really interesting here is the display will be touch enabled, meaning that this new MacBook Pro will be the first Mac to feature a touch screen.

[SPEAKER_01]: The display will be limited to touch only when the user touches a button or control that's displayed on the screen. [SPEAKER_01]: The display will also support things like pinching and zooming, along with fast scrolling. [SPEAKER_01]: The new MacBook will have a thinner design this time around because the giant fruit company likes to air devices outweigh.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not interested in the MacBook Pro line up these days, but when the OLED display and dynamic island make it down to the MacBook airline up, I'll give it a good look. [SPEAKER_01]: I really don't care one way or the other about the touchscreen capability. [SPEAKER_01]: This next item is something I am really interested in. [SPEAKER_01]: According to Bloomberg's Mark German, the iPad Air will be getting in, OLED screen next year also.

[SPEAKER_01]: Supply Chain Monitoring website ET News is reporting that Samsung display plans on starting production of OLED panels for the new iPad Air in January of 2027. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's the good news. [SPEAKER_01]: The bad news is that this new iPad Air will be hobbled with the same 60Hz display refresh rate as the current non OLED iPad Airs have now.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'd wager the Apple will stick with Touch ID versus Face ID on this new iPad 2. [SPEAKER_01]: I consume a lot of content on my current M4 13-inch iPad Pro, so while I can do without Face ID, [SPEAKER_01]: I have but one rule about downgrading Apple devices. [SPEAKER_01]: That's never to settle for an inferior display. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: Well it's good thing that the iPads last about five to seven years and get updates.

[SPEAKER_01]: Using that math means I have a good five years left of my current iPad. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple debuted at satellite texting service back in 2022. [SPEAKER_01]: According to a report from Apple Insider.com, Amazon has agreed to buy global star for $11 billion. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple itself has been part of the negotiations between Amazon and Global Star, because of their large investment in that company.

[SPEAKER_01]: During the sale negotiations, Amazon and Apple also made a deal for the continuation of satellite service for Apple customers, and being that Apple held such a large-staking global star the giant fruit company will either be the recipient of a large cash payment [SPEAKER_01]: There's also a benefit for Apple customers, cheaper prices. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's be real here, that's never going to happen.

[SPEAKER_01]: The benefit will come when Amazon absorbs global stores assets into its own Leo satellite service. [SPEAKER_01]: This should improve Apple satellite service due to an increase in the number of satellites available. [SPEAKER_01]: One of my past predictions was that eventually satellites were replaced land-based towers for cell service. [SPEAKER_01]: They'll still be land-based cell towers, but their purpose will be as backup to satellite provided cellular service.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mark my words. [SPEAKER_01]: And perhaps of that deal, inked by Apple and Amazon for satellite service, 9 to 5 Mac reports that new satellite related services for iPhones are in the pipeline for new services to be exact. [SPEAKER_01]: Number one is 5G cellular service via sunlight. [SPEAKER_01]: See what I mean when I say eventually cellular service will be provided by satellites? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes!

[SPEAKER_01]: This service will only be available to Apple devices equipped with the new Apple C2 modem chip, which should debut with the iPhone Pro and above. [SPEAKER_01]: Two Apple Maps support via satellite. [SPEAKER_01]: This will most likely depend on that C2 modem I just mentioned. [SPEAKER_01]: 3. [SPEAKER_01]: Sending photos attached to text messages using satellite service. [SPEAKER_01]: Ah, that's nice, but not critical in my opinion.

[SPEAKER_01]: And finally, third-party APIs for app developers, which should result in third-party devs coming up with some great apps in the future, along with a lot of junk. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that too. [SPEAKER_01]: Now I hate to be a Debbie Downer here, but these satellite features will come with a price. [SPEAKER_01]: You might see Apple give consumers like 90 days for free, but then they'll be a monthly subscription fee after.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't see myself using this service, but who knows, things may change. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd go for a satellite service if it came bundled with Apple 1, and I could delete Apple [SPEAKER_01]: To end this section, multiple new sites are reporting that Apple has stopped accepting orders for some Mac Mini and Mac Studio models. [SPEAKER_01]: You know that's got a hurt. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, it'll hurt that bottom line. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like leaving money on the table.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, this is due to the AI cause RAM shortage that the consumer has really just begun suffering from. [SPEAKER_01]: Model configurations affected are the 32 and 64 gigabyte ram versions of the Mac Mini and the 128 and 256 gigabyte ram Mac Studio versions. [SPEAKER_01]: The all whispers that this ram shortage is easing though. [SPEAKER_01]: As memory manufacturers are starting to catch up finally. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's hope it's sooner rather than later.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just doesn't affect me at the present. [SPEAKER_01]: My humble M2-based Macmini is currently serving me well. [SPEAKER_01]: Now I've had a couple of hiccups, but they've been resolved. [SPEAKER_01]: My next computer will be a 64 gig Macmini that's made in the USA. [SPEAKER_01]: I figure that purchase will come in 2028. [SPEAKER_01]: Tech I'm using. [SPEAKER_01]: I use my Mac mini with just one monitor.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've always been a one monitor guy despite the popularity of the two monitors set up. [SPEAKER_01]: Even when forced into using a computer equipped with two monitors while I was still gainfully employed. [SPEAKER_01]: An accident would occur, perhaps some technical issue would arise. [SPEAKER_01]: And that force me back to just using one monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: I really hate when that happens. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess my old Ford brain is just wired that way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Perhaps your undiagnosed attention deficit disorder has something to do with this. [SPEAKER_01]: Hush now. [SPEAKER_01]: While recording this in other podcasts, I have both my digital audio workstation and the stories I want to report on displayed on my single 27 inch monitor displayed side by side. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the story part is just fine, but the DAW part isn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: Meaning I'd like to have more room for it because of editing, etc. [SPEAKER_01]: I really don't want another monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: Because besides having no room for one of my desk, I would seldom use that second monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: So instead I decided to get a portable monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: Amazon had a sale on a MNN branded 15-inch portable monitor for 50 bucks. [SPEAKER_01]: I purchased it and the display was delivered last Sunday.

[SPEAKER_01]: I set it up Monday afternoon and plug it into one of the USB Thunderbolt ports on my newly acquired OWC GoDoc. [SPEAKER_01]: So there is a method to your madness. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: I have the portable monitor under the main display, not to one side of it. [SPEAKER_01]: The plan is to put the podcast script on the portable monitor and the DAW on the main display.

[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest problem I've been having is getting used to looking down while checking the script and moving the mouse to the left and right in order to enter or exit the main or portable display. [SPEAKER_01]: So if I seem a little distracted during this episode, that's the reason why not just [SPEAKER_01]: Well, besides having to lug the iPad up and downstairs, the way I'm using the portable monitor, it's in a precarious position.

[SPEAKER_01]: Though it has a case with a built-in stand using that stand would not leave enough room on my desk. [SPEAKER_01]: Instead, I just have it leaning against the upper tier of my desk. [SPEAKER_01]: Croped up at an angle. [SPEAKER_01]: I just know if I attempted to do this with my expensive iPad, an accident would occur. [SPEAKER_01]: And I can't have that. [SPEAKER_01]: Can I? [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, for $50, I'm content with it.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see how this setup works out for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, while my main display is 4K, the portable monitor is only 1080p, which is good enough for reading text. [SPEAKER_01]: If you listen to last week's episode, and let me tell you, not many people did. [SPEAKER_01]: Then you heard me weave a tale of wool when regards to my aura smart ring. [SPEAKER_01]: For some reason, the aura rings stop tracking my sleep. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no!

[SPEAKER_01]: And as I said at the time, that's the main reason that I decided to purchase a smart ring in the first place. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the first thing I did was try and rectify this problem by performing a soft reset of the ring, along with a good cleaning of its sensors. [SPEAKER_01]: This work for a couple of days before again failing to track my sleep. [SPEAKER_01]: Before recording last week's episode, I did a complete hardware reset on the ring.

[SPEAKER_01]: However, I noticed while working out after recording last week's episode that my Apple Watch was losing contact with my phone. [SPEAKER_01]: That was only about six feet away from the phone at the time. [SPEAKER_01]: Taking no chances, I reboot my phone just in case. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, far I'm happy to report that he or her ring is again tracking my sleep. [SPEAKER_01]: Why aren't you using your Apple Watch for tracking sleep? [SPEAKER_01]: About that.

[SPEAKER_01]: While the Apple Watch does track my sleep well, its tracking parameter is based on keeping your scheduled bedtime. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about you, but my bedtime varies. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's been that way as long as I can remember. [SPEAKER_01]: The OR ring tracks more details about my sleep than the Apple Watch does, and also tracks and registers Naps, something the Apple Watch can't seem to do.

[SPEAKER_01]: Until Apple improves the sensors in the Apple Watch I'll be relying on a smart ring for my sleep tracking. [SPEAKER_01]: entertainment news. [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing of interest is really going on in entertainment. [SPEAKER_01]: At least of interest to me. [SPEAKER_01]: No new streaming service price increases, but pay. [SPEAKER_01]: The year is still young. [SPEAKER_01]: You've got that right. [SPEAKER_01]: I do have a complaint about YouTube though.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, actually a couple of complaints. [SPEAKER_01]: The first one concerns YouTube's algorithm. [SPEAKER_01]: I keep getting served up videos I've already watched. [SPEAKER_01]: And those I haven't watched are not something I would want to watch. [SPEAKER_01]: No matter how many times YouTube recommends them to me. [SPEAKER_01]: The second complaint is a thing that many are also complaining about, too many ads, or in your case, the price of a YouTube premium subscription.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's the amount of AI slot on the platform. [SPEAKER_01]: To be fair, YouTube has cracked down on the most egregious of slot, but it seems that just about everything recommended to me that I actually might find interesting. [SPEAKER_01]: It's nothing more than a series of still photographs within AI-generated voice narrating a Wikipedia article verbatim. [SPEAKER_01]: Then you have the videos where the AI voice changes throughout the video and or contradicts itself.

[SPEAKER_01]: The upside of this is that I've grown bored with YouTube and have started discovering normal shows. [SPEAKER_01]: Shows like Guy Richie directed Young Sherlock Television Series, which is airing on Amazon Prime. [SPEAKER_01]: And yes, I just started to pay the extra money to get rid of the ads. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been stole 845 minute episodes of the first season over two days last week. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's hope that season 2 doesn't take 2 or 3 years to come out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Though YouTube is what I primarily watch, even with a slob, that might be changing. [SPEAKER_01]: If this slob continues, I will definitely downgrade to the light subscription tier, and it's only because my wandering the world's lovely wife doesn't like being interrupted by edge while watching her dramas. [SPEAKER_01]: You've spoiled her. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I did, but deservedly so. [SPEAKER_01]: podcast news.

[SPEAKER_01]: After the purchase of a portable monitor, I'm done with buying podcast equipment. [SPEAKER_01]: Ha. [SPEAKER_01]: We've heard that already. [SPEAKER_02]: Many, many times. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, this time I'm serious. [SPEAKER_01]: I have enough microphones and audio interfaces of all types and have spent far too much money on digital audio plugins. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess we can call this the end of an era, as the cool kids say.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I'd go as far as calling it end of an error, but yeah, I'm done. [SPEAKER_01]: I've spent a lot of money on podcasting year-over-day years and what results have I achieved. [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing but diminishing returns, as the cool kids also like to say.

[SPEAKER_02]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: In order to put a limit on further temptation, I've purged all the podcasting gearhead YouTube channels from my subscriptions, and also unsuscribed from me, a lot of the podcasting related news feeds. [SPEAKER_01]: Tra Mia, an email if you have any suggestion for me. [SPEAKER_01]: And thanks in advance. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm also going to be switching back to using a dynamic microphone versus a condenser mic.

[SPEAKER_01]: While I love the sound of my high-end noise and send-hizer condenser microphones, they're just way too sensitive for my recording space. [SPEAKER_01]: This sensitivity leaves me to having to depend on digital noise at reduction plugins, which [SPEAKER_01]: So this episode will be the last one recorded using my Neumann TLM103 for a while. [SPEAKER_01]: The 103 will still be used for voice oversight gigs though.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll be using it in conjunction with my laptop feeding into a solid state logic MK2 audio interface with a walk in closet. [SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I'm serious about adding to the show is a cohost. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll see if my search for one is successful. [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, you have a bevy of cohost available to you. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking a real-life human co-host here, your AI-phobic.

[SPEAKER_01]: The music is playing, as episode 317 of the OFNT podcast continues its journey to its end. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope you enjoyed this episode. [SPEAKER_01]: I enjoyed making it for you. [SPEAKER_01]: To like what you heard? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you can make a donation using the link in the show notes. [SPEAKER_01]: Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. [SPEAKER_01]: You can always reach me at ofntbottcast at gmail.com if you're so inclined.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'd enjoy hearing from you. [SPEAKER_01]: Really would. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, don't listen to what they say. [SPEAKER_01]: Watch, what they do. [SPEAKER_01]: My new weedwacker is working well. [SPEAKER_01]: Have you noticed? [SPEAKER_01]: What do you have or haven't? [SPEAKER_01]: Get off my lawn. [SPEAKER_01]: Stay skeptical. [SPEAKER_01]: Ahhhh, I'm out. [SPEAKER_01]: See ya. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't! [SPEAKER_01]: And that folks is the end of the show.
