So, did you miss me? Nope. Oh, come on. Not just a little? Yes. Oh, no. Yeah, I missed last Sunday's episode because I was packing up the last of our stuff for my move to the new place. We kept finding things that needed packing around the old place. So much stuff that we couldn't fit at all in the SUV. Oh, well. We've got one more trip up to New York anyway when the house is finally sold. Hopefully that'll be soon, but who knows.
I've set up the recording space, including my new Noem and TLM 102 microphone, which I'm using right now. How does it sound? I think it sounds very public radio-ish. I've also realized that my new desk is too small and will eventually need replacing. Hey, but that's what birthdays were made for. This time I'm buying a desk from a brick and mortar store so I can see what I'm getting. Anyway, we're still awaiting the rest of our furniture and things and haven't no firm date yet.
I'll be returning this coming Sunday with a regular episode of the OFNT podcast, but I can't promise what this episode will be like. That's because I'm still distracted by all the things that relocating brings with it.
