[SPEAKER_02]: a factual data creation facility production. [SPEAKER_02]: In a world where some podcasts make millions of dollars, I bring you the OF&T podcast, which isn't one of them. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, here's your host, Jim Schafer. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to episode 316 with John Calling, Battle of the Fold Rumors. [SPEAKER_01]: As in, iPhone Fold. [SPEAKER_01]: This week saw weekers and investment firms releasing contradicting predictions about the iPhone Fold.
[SPEAKER_01]: But just about every day of last week we had such statements. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll say be foam will be delayed, but the minority believe we will arrive as expected. [SPEAKER_01]: So who's right? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, you tell me. [SPEAKER_01]: Well I can't because I don't know either. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, what do you say we get to it then? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Tech News. [SPEAKER_01]: According to an Apple leaker which calls themselves the information, cool handle, the iPhone Air will indeed be getting a second generation. [SPEAKER_01]: According to the information, were mainly a supply chain leaker, the iPhone Air 2 will only be getting internal upgrades. [SPEAKER_01]: sort of like the iPhone SE update method. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: While many in the TechBress predicted that the air 2 would be released alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Fold in September, the information predicts that the air 2 will be coming in the spring of 2027. [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks. [SPEAKER_01]: Leaker DeJure, Bloomberg's Mark German, agreed with the information.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you've been listening to this very insignificant podcast lately, then you might remember me predicting that the air would be launched beside the Base iPhone and the iPhone E-Series. [SPEAKER_01]: I predicted this when the tech press reported that the Base iPhone announcements would be pushed from autumn to spring. [SPEAKER_01]: Now I don't pretend to have any inside-knowledge regarding Apple or much of anything these days. [SPEAKER_01]: Well that's for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: It would just make sense if Apple is really going to have two separate events for iPhones. [SPEAKER_01]: So, September will be the event for the well-heeled consumer, while we spring event will be for the, quote, a normal consumers, and of course, us, the peasant class. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple already has the high end market cornered, so they've decided to take a piece of the low-to-mid-range market.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the MacBook Neo and the bass iPad, well maybe the iPad Air, non-pro AirPods, Apple Watch SE, and perhaps the Mac Mini will also be added to this new spring event. [SPEAKER_01]: Is this another prediction of yours? [SPEAKER_01]: Sure, why not? [SPEAKER_01]: Then I'll add it to the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well if you actually have a book that you're entering my predictions into, I guess you should [SPEAKER_01]: To conclude, the iPhone Air may have a second generation, but does anyone remember the iPhone Mini? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, no. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, for years, a small but very vocal group of Apple fans clamored for a small, form-factor iPhone that had the same features as the regular iPhone models, but not an iPhone SE.
[SPEAKER_01]: In September of 2021, Apple granted their wish and unveiled the iPhone 13 Mini. [SPEAKER_01]: And guess what? [SPEAKER_01]: Partly anybody bought one. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple released the iPhone 14 mini the following year and again, sales were low. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple ended the mini experiment after that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I still see plenty of comments on social media suggesting Apple should make another mini, but that's not happening no matter how many copy and paste comments appear on social media. [SPEAKER_01]: No one was asking for an ultra thin iPhone, but Apple decided to make one anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: And like the mini-before it hardly anyone bought one, this will most likely be the last year will be seeing the iPhone Air.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, all the rumors about the air getting a second camera are not happening either. [SPEAKER_01]: Holding a mobile speaker instant digital, 95 Mac is reporting that the iPhone fold has gone into [SPEAKER_01]: The schedule JIs would previous reports that the iPhone fold will be announced in September alongside the new iPhone Pro lineup this coming September, but will not be ready to ship until later in 2026. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking November-ish.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know Apple wouldn't want to miss the holiday gift-giving season? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm still trying to understand what's the target market for this foldable phone. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure, the hardcore Apple fanatics will buy this, but remember the Vision Pearl? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but barely. [SPEAKER_01]: I would rather spend my money on a trick-down Macmini and a high-end monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: But my situation may not be the best example of the typical consumer.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I wonder if this new iPhone fold will be compatible with the Apple Pencil. [SPEAKER_01]: If it is, I can see parents sending their kids off to college with the iPhone fold, instead of having to pony up for a laptop or an iPad. [SPEAKER_01]: They could just buy young Johnny and iPhone fold, and that would save them some money.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if the fold has a desktop mode, like Google is about to release for Android, well you can throw an H cheap 24-inch monitor [SPEAKER_01]: and that would still be cheaper than buying an iPhone laptop and or iPad, that's all well and good. [SPEAKER_01]: But what about storage? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you'd have to go for a higher storage tier when purchasing the fold.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then again, for 20 bucks, you can get a cheap USB hub and if need be, add some sort of external drive, I guess. [SPEAKER_01]: While following those reports that the foldable iPhone would be delayed, not other than Bloomberg's Mark German reversed his opinion the very next day. [SPEAKER_01]: He's now claiming that the iPhone fold or whatever Apple is going to call it, will in fact launch at the same time as the iPhone 18 Pro this upcoming September.
[SPEAKER_01]: This new take on the Folds launch goes against heavy weights like Barclays and Bank of America besides various social media leaker accounts. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like some sort of stock market manipulation attempt. [SPEAKER_01]: If you ask me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Normally, I would tend to side with German on this, but there seems to be too many rumors of problems concerning the manufacturing process of the foldable iPhone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Moreover, it's unusual. [SPEAKER_01]: You know I tend to believe German's older statement that the iPhone Fold will be announced in September but ship later in the year. [SPEAKER_01]: On the opposite side of iPhone Fold predictions, Nika Asia is claiming that Apple has run into more issues and anticipated during the engineering phase of the fold, which could push the phone's launch well into 2027.
[SPEAKER_01]: The KAsia claims that it's such as with an Apple and component suppliers are warning of the delays. [SPEAKER_01]: If you've been keeping count, it's a social media leakers and now at least three investment firms predicting some sort of delay with Apple's shiny new bubbles release. [SPEAKER_01]: So something appears to be happening here. [SPEAKER_01]: My opinion is, if this foldable iPhone isn't perfect, Apple will delay its release until it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Continuing with the foldable iPhone saga, Leaker or Sunny Dixon, this guy should really come up with a better name. [SPEAKER_01]: As posted photos of a dummy unit of the new model, which matches the previous leaked CAD drawings, the biggest revelation from this is that there's no Macsave present. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what the hell? [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder how the Apple Tech Press will handle this news if it's true.
[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest great about the iPhone 16E was that it didn't have MagSafe. [SPEAKER_01]: When MagSafe was added to the 17E, was if Apple had made the greatest upgrade ever. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, MagSafe is a great feature, but you know, MagSafe cases are a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: All you have to do is pop on on a 16E and voila, you have MagSafe capability. [SPEAKER_01]: Now you won't be getting the faster charging of built-in MagSafe.
[SPEAKER_01]: But most people charge your phones overnight while sleeping, and that would give the phone plenty of time to charge. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess that Apple couldn't find room for mags safe without making the full ticker. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see if the tech press makes a big issue out of this as they did with the 16E. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd wager that they won't. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this will be the last story this week about the iPhone Fold.
[SPEAKER_01]: Or is it really going to be called the iPhone Fold? [SPEAKER_01]: Again, a leaker this time we both digital chat station claims that the name of the new foldable iPhone will be the iPhone Ultra. [SPEAKER_01]: I think that will in fact be the name to giant fruit company will, wind up giving it. [SPEAKER_01]: There's been rumors of Apple heading towards the creation of an Ultra product category. [SPEAKER_01]: It'll need more products around out this new higher-end market.
[SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps Apple will separate products by displaying a future. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, then again, not the iPhone, as all iPhones have moved on to OLED displays. [SPEAKER_01]: But MacBooks are another story. [SPEAKER_01]: Once OLED displays make it to that product category, we'll have the MacBook Pro Ultra and the MacBook Air Ultra. [SPEAKER_01]: The 13-inch iPad Pro already supports an OLED screen, so I don't know how that would work. [SPEAKER_01]: In other words, who knows?
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure Tim Cook knows. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure he does, but as I've said in the past, he's not talking. [SPEAKER_01]: The MacBook Neo, of course, is the low-cost MacBook, which starts at $599. [SPEAKER_01]: If you were to order a Neo from Apple right now, you're looking at a delivery date that's three weeks out, and that's exactly what the Apple Centric News sites have been reporting.
[SPEAKER_01]: I test it this out by firing up the old Apple Store app and going through the process of ordering a Neo. [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_01]: You actually ordered one? [SPEAKER_01]: No, I backed out once I received a delivered buy date. [SPEAKER_01]: I picked a silver 512 gig model which comes with Touch ID. [SPEAKER_01]: I figured that a silver would be the least favorite color that's being the most available model.
[SPEAKER_01]: I then ran through all the colors available and received the same three week delivery date. [SPEAKER_01]: The same applied to in-store pickup, which means no Apple stores have the Neo Instock. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: By the end of Switch 2, ordering the base model Neo and got the same results. [SPEAKER_01]: In the past, I would have thought that the MacBook Neo was no threat to cheap Windows base laptops, but, uh, times have changed.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you really need MS productivity, absolutely you need to do is get a subscription to MS 365 in your all set.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then again, you can just get a base iPad with a cheap third-party keyboard case and do the [SPEAKER_01]: I can see businesses buying a fleet of silver neos and issuing them to their road warriors and speaking of the neo, former Bloomberg reporter Tim Calpin, who since gone independent claims that next year's neo will have a bend a 19 pro chip and 12 gigabytes of RAM. [SPEAKER_01]: I would like to see a terabyte storage option at it on also.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mr. Colpin also said that Apple is negotiating with a supplier to boost current macomeo-productions because sales have greatly exceeded expectations. [SPEAKER_01]: Adding that Apple is facing a dilemma as a result. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd consider that a nice dilemma to be facing. [SPEAKER_01]: 9 to 5 Mac is reporting that Apple is quickly running out of the A18 Pro chips at Power the Neo.
[SPEAKER_01]: The article suggests an Apple could pay TSMC to ramp up A18 Pro production again and just make the 512 gig version available to protect profit margins. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: Apple had planned on manufacturing 6 million Eos, so I think it's safe to say that these [SPEAKER_01]: Android Authority has a story about Apple being sued by three YouTubers who are accusing the giant fruit company of scraping over 70 million videos in order to train its AI.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like other big AI entities? [SPEAKER_01]: These YouTubers didn't give their permissions nor did they receive any credit or payment. [SPEAKER_01]: Supposedly Apple maintains a data set called Panda-70M, which posts a large index of YouTube clips organized by URLs, timestamps and other identifiers. [SPEAKER_01]: This is probably all true in those three podcasters can expect a settlement which will make them millions of dollars well the year.
[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder how these YouTubers found out that Apple was doing this. [SPEAKER_02]: And how did they know that the Pandus 70 database even existed? [SPEAKER_01]: If I were Apple, I'd instruct my internal security team to start by looking within the company. [SPEAKER_01]: If you get my drift. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Easy, load of data, and these companies don't want to pay for that data. [SPEAKER_01]: Expect more of these types of lawsuits in the coming years.
[SPEAKER_01]: If that's what companies like ChatGBT Google or Apple are using to teach their AI models, well, no wonder there's problems. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm old enough to remember that old computer programmer saying, garbage in, garbage out. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that will wrap up this week's Tech News section. [SPEAKER_01]: Though I went through my Android specific news feeds with a fine tooth comb, I couldn't come up with a story that I found interesting.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it was an all Apple Tech News section this week. [SPEAKER_01]: tech I'm using. [SPEAKER_01]: Because of the limited USB ports available on my slightly bumped up base model Mac Mini, I've struggled connecting peripherals over the years. [SPEAKER_01]: I've resorted to purchasing cheap USB hubs and then DC chaining them to a cheap and acceptable outcome.
[SPEAKER_01]: Last year, I attempted to remedy this by buying a sateki branded USB C doc that was fitted for my Mac Mini, which sits [SPEAKER_01]: Being that I have an older MacMony, the Sateki Doc was heavily discounted, skin-flint. [SPEAKER_01]: The problem with that Doc besides the crappy construction, you get what you pay for. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that it took up one of the two precious Thunderbolt USB-C ports on the Mac, while giving me but one normal USB-C connection in exchange?
[SPEAKER_01]: So spurred on by a recent article of which I've forgotten who by, I decided to do something about the situation. [SPEAKER_01]: While looking at the recommended docs from the article, I realized that most, if not all of these models, were overkill for my humble needs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Basically I was looking for a high-quality USB hub that provided a few extra USB-A ports for legacy peripherals while also providing a couple of USB-C ports for newer or perhaps [SPEAKER_01]: I also didn't want to spend the $3 to $400 on a USB dock. [SPEAKER_01]: There it is again. [SPEAKER_01]: What a skin flip.
[SPEAKER_01]: While almost pulling the trigger on a OWC branded hub, which would have set me back about $250, Amazon recommended a NoWC Thunderbolt Go dock, which has to be on sale for $150. [SPEAKER_01]: original price on that unit was $200. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, still a bit of overkill. [SPEAKER_01]: The go-dock also has provisioning for video which I don't need.
[SPEAKER_01]: This go-dock had the right number of USB-A and USB-C connections, and had the added bonus of two out of the four USB-C connections being this underbolt 4 capable. [SPEAKER_01]: The OWC units is also portable, hence the Goal Moniker, which will allow me to bring it along on any future trips I may take. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure you are. [SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like a winner to me. [SPEAKER_01]: And use it in conjunction with my MacBook Air.
[SPEAKER_01]: The OWC dock was delivered this past Thursday evening. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a bit bigger than I thought it would be in heavier. [SPEAKER_01]: The build quality is excellent. [SPEAKER_01]: And one of those for USB-C ports is used to connect the dock to your computer. [SPEAKER_01]: The one standard USB-C port is mounted on units front and is primarily used for charging. [SPEAKER_01]: The front of the unit also features a USB-A port, a headphone jack, and a full-size SD card slot.
[SPEAKER_01]: The rear has two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI port and an Ethernet port. [SPEAKER_01]: This frees up the two USB-A ports on the Mac Mini. [SPEAKER_01]: The two Thunderbolt USB-C ports of the Mini are occupied by the dock connection that of my audio interface. [SPEAKER_01]: The OWC dock smaller size enables it to be placed under my monitor. [SPEAKER_01]: Heck, if in the future I decide to live that laptop computing lifestyle, I now have the perfect dock.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pleased with my purchase of the OWC Thunderbolt Go dock and hardly recommended. [SPEAKER_01]: Especially at the price I paid for it. [SPEAKER_01]: The only other tech I'm using item I have this week in terms of my fourth generation or a smart ring. [SPEAKER_01]: For some reason a ring stopped monitoring my sleep last Tuesday. [SPEAKER_01]: I gave it a day but upon waking up Wednesday morning, I found that the ring again failed to track my sleep.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, that's the whole point of a smart ring. [SPEAKER_01]: A bit of panic set in, and I summoned the AI help chatbot with the orders of company in the software. [SPEAKER_01]: The chatbot asked me permission for running a diagnostic test, which I granted. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: Can it actually do that? [SPEAKER_01]: Sounds a bit scary to me. [SPEAKER_01]: The results were that everything was working as it should.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not wanting to talk to a real-life customer service agent yet, I thought perhaps he censors within the ring had somehow gotten blocked. [SPEAKER_01]: So I gently cleaned them with a cheesecloth. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that sort of worked for two days anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: After waking up on Thursday, the aura app was again monitoring my sleep. [SPEAKER_01]: But come Saturday morning. [SPEAKER_01]: This was in the case. [SPEAKER_01]: As before, I gave it another day.
[SPEAKER_01]: This morning when I checked no sleep time was registered. [SPEAKER_01]: Just before sitting down, record this, I did a complete factory reset of the ring. [SPEAKER_01]: And hopefully this fixes things. [SPEAKER_01]: I need this generation for or ring the last until the company releases its next generation. [SPEAKER_01]: entertainment news, another episode, another streaming service price increase. [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh no, you don't. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yes, they did.
[SPEAKER_01]: This time it's YouTube premium. [SPEAKER_01]: I received an email Friday from YouTube announcing these price increases. [SPEAKER_01]: The individual plan increased by $2 to $15.99 per month. [SPEAKER_01]: The family plan increased by $4 to $26.99 per month. [SPEAKER_01]: The light plans price rolls one buck to $8.99 per month. [SPEAKER_01]: as well as YouTube music which will cost you $11.99 going forward.
[SPEAKER_01]: To be fair, Google hasn't increased the prices of YouTube premium since 2023, but it hurts my and everyone's wallet just to say I'm really considering switching to the light here now. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't use YouTube music. [SPEAKER_01]: I've never downloaded a video for offline viewing or have I used background play. [SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I do watch is music videos and shorts, which won't be ad-free if I switch.
[SPEAKER_01]: I have a must to decide because these price increases don't go into effect until June. [SPEAKER_01]: I remember when I first signed up for, YouTube Premium Minute was 10 bucks per month. [SPEAKER_01]: Sheesh. [SPEAKER_01]: Continuing with YouTube, they really wanted to start paying as evidence by this next story. [SPEAKER_01]: Though YouTube is denying it.
[SPEAKER_01]: According to, Android Authority users are reporting that they've been getting unskippable 90-second long ads on YouTube's television app. [SPEAKER_01]: screenshots of this were provided from some of those pissed off users, so this is happening. [SPEAKER_01]: At first YouTube denied this was happening, then later said they're looking into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: As one commentator to the article said while viewing the screenshots, it resembles the fewer ad breaks for this video notification that YouTube uses for 60 seconds currently. [SPEAKER_01]: The commentator went on to pause it that YouTube is testing out, adding 30 seconds to the standard, and will probably add more time to add breaks during the video itself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now also add in the recent price increases for YouTube premium, and it's no wonder why YouTube viewers are resorting to add walkers. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, YouTube is currently keen, it does have competitors. [SPEAKER_01]: If streaming services like Rumble ever get their act together, we'll have some real competition in this space, and competition is a good thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Always. [SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps another monopoly investigation is an order here.
[SPEAKER_01]: As you probably already know, streaming services have been moving towards being a destination for consuming sport content slowly, but surely, especially baseball, major league baseball. [SPEAKER_01]: Some regular season games are broadcast via streamers like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and others. [SPEAKER_01]: What about audio broadcasting? [SPEAKER_01]: narcole on rainnews.com, which is primarily a radio broadcasting industry-centric website.
[SPEAKER_01]: Reports Odyssey, which started life as radio.com, has ended a partnership with the New York Mets. [SPEAKER_01]: To deliver live play by play of Met's home games, this has already started happening on March 26th, who knew? [SPEAKER_01]: The real advance here is that there will be no broadcast delays. [SPEAKER_01]: Typically live broadcasts have a 30 to 90 second delay, so what's the big deal here? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's say you're in attendance of a Met's home game.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like myself, you really can't afford the good seats. [SPEAKER_01]: And the ones you can't afford don't give you the best view of what's going on in the field. [SPEAKER_01]: By listening to this livestream, you'll be able to know who's batting and everything else a radio broadcast would normally tell you, except it will be in real time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Many moons ago I would bring my Sony Walkman with me to the old Yankee Stadium and listen to the radio broadcast while watching the game. [SPEAKER_01]: My bleacher seats didn't give me the greatest of viewing, so when I didn't catch what was happening, the broadcast would let me know what was going on. [SPEAKER_01]: About 30 seconds later. [SPEAKER_01]: This new take on this is ingenious.
[SPEAKER_01]: At first, I thought this live feed would go out to the general public before realizing that only attendees at the stadium would be able to listen to it. [SPEAKER_01]: Odyssey and the Met's organization now have the ability to run advertisements on this live feed, which will bring in even more revenue. [SPEAKER_01]: Whoever within Odyssey that came up with this scheme needs to be promoted ASAP.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can see this service expanding to all other sports teams and maybe even stadiums which host multiple teams playing multiple sports in the future. [SPEAKER_01]: One thing, though, in New York, Yankee Stadium is surrounded by bars, restaurants, and apartment buildings. [SPEAKER_01]: Will this live feed leak into that surrounding area? [SPEAKER_01]: I can see bars and restaurants playing this feed for their customers, and residents also listening in.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a digital stream though, so they probably have some sort of safeguard built into it that would prohibit listening to the signal outside of the stadiums. [SPEAKER_01]: Most likely some sort of code you'd have to enter into a dedicated app that you receive once you're inside the stadium. [SPEAKER_01]: But what would stop an attendee from texting the code to someone outside the stadium? [SPEAKER_01]: How about GPS tracking and geo-fencing?
[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to look into this further. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I just looked up how this whole works. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to have the MLB ballpark app present on your device and select the sports bug audio feed and be connected to city fields Wi-Fi network. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I've been to City Field and found the Wi-Fi to be a standard for that was years ago. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure they've upgraded it since.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you happen to live or be close to City Field, you probably could still access the Wi-Fi signal. [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I think this is a brilliant idea. [SPEAKER_01]: podcast news. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, not much going on in podcasting this week, which is probably a good thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think this pause podcasting incorporated is going through at the moment is caused by the industry holding its collective breath while waiting for Apple's recent HLS video launch to take hold. [SPEAKER_01]: If it succeeds, HLS will put a dent in Spotify's and YouTube's numbers.
[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of which, according to the weekly podcast business journal, Streamer Netflix entered the video podcast market about a month or so ago in the platform's biggest show is the Breakfast Club. [SPEAKER_01]: I've attempted to watch this show in other platforms in the past, but it doesn't appeal to me. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, I'm not the audience this show is targeted at.
[SPEAKER_01]: While Netflix licenses most of the podcast it's showing on its platform, the company does produce original content. [SPEAKER_01]: Mostly to a company it's original movies in series. [SPEAKER_01]: So the top three podcasts on Netflix currently are number one the Breakfast Club. [SPEAKER_01]: Coming up second is the Netflix original Bridgerton, the official broadcast. [SPEAKER_01]: And number three is Murder With My Husband, which is an independent podcast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was surprised at that too. [SPEAKER_01]: I looked into the podcast and found that it really is independent. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, good for them. [SPEAKER_01]: But with the breakfast club taking 46% of the viewing, how well are the rest of these podcasts really doing? [SPEAKER_01]: The music is playing in episode 316 of the OF&T podcast is ending its run. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope you enjoyed this episode. [SPEAKER_01]: I enjoyed making it for you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Feel like what you heard. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you can always make a donation using the link in the show notes. [SPEAKER_01]: Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. [SPEAKER_01]: You can always reach me at lfntpodcast at gmail.com if you're so inclined. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd really enjoy hearing from you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I really would. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, don't listen to what they say. [SPEAKER_01]: Watch what they do.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be breaking in a new weed wacker next week, so in the meantime, get off my lawn. [SPEAKER_01]: Stay skeptical. [SPEAKER_01]: Ahhhh, out. [SPEAKER_01]: See ya! [SPEAKER_01]: And that folks is the end of the show.
