Episode description

Crystal Quade Growing up in rural Missouri, Crystal Quade often made the trek to help her mom prepare the diner where she worked double or triple shifts waitressing. They lived on a gravel road, and Crystal was the first in her family to graduate from high school. She worked her way through Missouri State, began her own family – and then became the Democratic Leader of the Missouri House of Representatives. Now Crystal is leading our most important fights to restore our abortion rights and championing working-class families. She’ll make Missouri the best place to live, work, and raise a family, by increasing wages, investing in public education, and making healthcare affordable. Dan Tocchini Dan Tocchini has been helping leaders bring a touch of magic to their teams for over 35 years. He has worked with executive teams from companies like Interstate Batteries, ESPN, Smarty Pants Vitamins, and Impulse Space, as well as with non-profits such as Homeboy Industries and Defy Ventures. Dan's approach is straightforward and effective, focusing on courageous leadership, creative conflict resolution, and relevant restructuring. He transforms leadership teams without any pixie dust—just real, practical solutions. Bruce Tarletsky Bruce is a part of the group High Mountain Breezes (HMB), lifelong music friends who pause their professional careers to reconnect, share their talents, and create unique music together. Their studio sessions are heartfelt and spiritual, with one member describing their essence as "using one’s palette to augment something already beautiful, and being trusted and skilled enough to do it." This spirit of collaboration helps HMB create a unique legacy in music. The chemistry among HMB’s players, vocalists, songwriters, and producers shines through in every song, reflecting years of friendship and musical mastery. HMB also offers songwriter mentoring sessions, drawing on their extensive experience, including insights from Alabama’s #1 hit "Jukebox in My Mind." They also consult on other artists' projects, including songwriter demos and artist sessions.
