Absolutely insane footage has been released of rivers reappearing in dry parts all around the world. And yet here's the question that nobody seems to be asking. Does all of this point to something much bigger, like the location of the Garden of Eden? Listen to me, the Bible gives very specific instructions on the location of the Garden of Eden and you and I would be very foolish to ignore them.
It says now a river went out of Eden to water the garden and from there it parted and became all riverheads. It then names these four rivers. Number one is the Pishone. The Pishone is known to run through the land of Havilah, and in Havilah it is known to have lots of gold. Remember this. Number two is the Guihon. The Bible says this river runs through the land of Kush. Our third river is the Tigris and #4 is the river Euphrates.
It's no secret that the Tigris and the Euphrates are on every map in the modern world. Now do you see why you are supposed to take the Bible seriously? Because when it gives descriptions, it doesn't describe made-up fictional places like Narnia or Mordor. Now it's talking about real places that you and I can visit
today. So this could get quite exciting because according to the scripture is all you and I have to do is we have to find these two rivers, the Pishon and the Guihon, and where these two rivers meet with the other two rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates, and turn into one singular river, that is where we will find the location of the Garden of Eden. OK, so here's the thing.
Once I understood all of this, I became mega confused as to why Youtubers, Bible scholars, and professors, we're all putting and forth very unusual suggestions. But I thought, OK, I'll listen to them all, I'll hear them out. Because after all, one of them might just be true. By far the wildest theory was put forward by scholar Pete Van Dyke. He believed that the ancient cultures didn't mean E like we mean east, but cosmic East.
And so he proposed the idea that the Garden of Eden was located on an astroplane in space, resting above the eastern horizon. I also heard another YouTube claim that the Garden of Eden hovered over Earth and that is why all the four rivers they meet and flow down onto Earth. I can still see why many Ethiopians claim that Eden is in their country. As Genesis 2 verse 13 says the name of the second river is Guihon. It is the one which goes around the whole land of Kush.
So let's ask the obvious question here. Where is Kush located today? Well, there is an alternate view to this which I'm going to share with you in a moment. But when the Bible talks about Kush, it is describing Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan. So that leads us to ask another question. Which river flows through Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan? Well, you've probably guessed it. It's the river Nile.
So one popular theory for the location which Bible scholars put forward, especially those from the past, is they said that the Gehon River was the Nile. And believe it or not, the river Ganges in India was our mysterious river. P Sean, are you imagining this right now? In other words, these Bible scholars were claiming that Eden encompassed the entire ancient world from Africa to India. But I could be totally wrong about this.
But the reason I believe there is a a much likelier location for Eden is because when Adam and Eve were taken out of the garden for eating the fruit that God told them to avoid is the question that should go through all of our minds at this point is how could they be removed from effectively the whole world? And that is why I believe the Garden of Eden is likely to be much smaller, and hence why we have not found it from our list from above. Pangaea or Pangaea is the scientific view.
The Earth did not always look like a bunch of jigsaw pieces floating around in a vast sea of oceans. No once all of our land was joined together in one massive supercontinent. But then what happened was there was a weakness in the earth's crust and this caused a movement in the Earth's plate and 'cause Pangaea to rift and break apart. Hey, I wonder how many of you are shaking your head and uttering these words under your breath.
Total nonsense. Well, did you know that the Bible actually can support the Pangaea theory? What explanation is this? When mankind got too big for their boots and they thought they could reach God by building the Tower of Babel in their arrogance, what did Almighty Creator do with these little Ant like people? Well, the Bible says this. So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth and they ceased
building the city. I am actually planning a very big video on the Tower of Babel, so if you would like to see that, please make sure you subscribe. But just now, here is the suggestion. One suggestion is to stop these men and women from building this great big tower. God immediately split the earth and confuse the languages. And today what do we have?
We have Spanish, we have Italian, we have French, we have English, Japanese, all different people groups from all around the world separated by ocean across the earth. Why? Because God suddenly confused the people and stopped them building this arrogant tower. However, that does not get us any closer to discovering Eden. So the other biblical theory of Pangea is during the days of Noah when God poured out his judgment on all of the earth.
This colossal amount of water caused the Earth's crust to break. And and it's also why we have water which takes up 71% all over the earth. Because water doesn't just disappear into thin air, does it? Well, okay, yes, it kind of does. But it comes back through the water cycle. So I'll ask you again, what does this have to do with the location of Eden?
Well, could it be that Eden was lost forever because both the Guihon and the Pishon were washed away as much of the landscape would have been changed post Noah. And maybe even the Tigris and the Euphrates are in completely different places to their original location next to the Garden of Eden. But somehow, as you know, I probably doubt this to be true. As I said in this video, we are waiting for something very big to happen to the Euphrates. Between you and me, I'm still not convinced.
So I decided to research what it is that modern day Bible scholars, Modern day professors who teach in universities? What are they saying about the real location of the Garden of Eden? If you travelled to Jerusalem, did you know that you can visit a small spring that, as long as people can remember, has been called Gihon? Isn't that interesting? OK, now watch this. In 1000 BC, Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem.
And inside the temple behind the Guardian Curtain was the Holy of Holies. And the Ark of the Covenant was found inside the Holy of Holies. And it is there that the Scripture teaches us that the Lord God dwells. Now we as Christians believe that God is omnipresent. That means he is everywhere. But the Bible really does tell us there is really only two places where God dwelt for a long period of time. One of them is inside the Temple in Jerusalem and the other is in the Garden of Eden.
This is only amplified when we see God becoming a man and living amongst us as Jesus of Nazareth. And where did he spend much of his time? In Jerusalem. Something very memorable about the Adam and Eve account is once driven from the Garden of Eden, they were blocked from ever entering as guarding cherubim were placed at the east entrance of the garden. And there there was a flaming sword which turned in every way guarding it to stop them from getting back in towards the tree
of life. So take all of that into your mind and now tell me what is it that guards the Ark of the Covenant to cherubim? And then inside the temple there is so much garden imagery. The temple itself was lined with cedar wood and then of course there are depictions of palm trees, flowers and pomegranates. So although the temple is indoors, it feels like you're outdoors.
But here is the real crazy part. In 587 BC this beautiful temple was broken to pieces and God's people, the Israelites, were carried off to wait for it the east to be exiled in Babylon. So just like the Garden of Eden, paradise was lost and God's people were taken away E away from their homeland. OK, I'm not going to lie. After everything we've just seen, this last one seems the most plausible. But there is more. There's two more options.
One of them I think most of you will say, yes, this is the location of the real Garden of Eden. But the last one is a little bit of a wild card and that one might just clinch it for me. OK, firstly we have the Zarins theory. In 1971, Professor Jury Zarins travelled to the Arabian Peninsula to research ancient
civilizations. It was there, after examining many satellite images of the area, that he noticed what appeared to be a former river totally dried up, which would later be identified as the Wadi Baton. This literally means, in Arabic, the Belly Button river and this river which flows through. Arabia Zarin believes that 6000 years ago it would have met with the Euphrates, the Tigris and our 4th River, the Quran, and these altogether would flow into the Persian Gulf. Did you catch that?
So as I said earlier, if we can find out where the Tigris, the Euphrates, the Guihon and the Pichon River where they all meet together, that will give us a pretty strong indicator of where the Garden of Eden is okay. This is where it gets a little bit complicated because Zarin's proposed that the Karoon River is the Guihon which rises in Persia and flows southwesterly towards the Persian Gulf. This is where it gets a little
bit difficult. You see, Scripture says that the Guihon on winds all the way through Kush, which as we saw earlier, is believed to be Ethiopia. But we then meet a man called Eframe Spizer. Spizer is a translator of the Torah. That's the first five books of the Bible in Hebrew, and he believes that it's actually a better translation of the word. Kush is the word cash shoe, which would refer to the Kasai people who conquered Mesopotamia in 1500 BC.
And we're actually from this exact region, Persia, Kuwait. And that would make perfect sense for this theory because the Karoon actually flows through these exact regions that
we've just talked about. So let's examine our next river, the Pishon, which Professor Zarin's claims is the Wadi Baton today, or the Wadi al Rumar. What backs up this claim even more is that the Bible itself says the name of the first is Pishon. It is the one which skirts the whole land of Havillar, where there is gold and the gold of
that land is good. Archaeologist Joel Kramer and the author of Where God Came Down unravelled a key piece of information about the Wadi. You see, just as a scripture says the land of Havilah, there's gold and the gold there
is is good gold. So Joel and his son visited the area and discovered that at the Wadi Rumars River basin there are actually 55 gold mines and one known as the Cradle of Gold has been mined for thousands of years And still to this today it is known as the finest gold mine in all of Saudi Arabia. One thing that really surprised me is Joel and his team found an unusual volcanic rock at the top of the Hijaz mountain. Now if this is where the Pishon River started, just note that
that's the source. So they followed this dry riverbed a bit further down and what did they find? They found this unusual rock like substance at the bottom of the riverbed. And then get this. They travelled 500 miles, tracking this parched river all the way through the desert, through Saudi Arabia, all the way through into other countries. And what did they find at the bottom? You're not going to believe it. They found this unusual volcanic
rock deposits. Now, it was smooth because of river erosion, but what's crazy is it could not have come from any other place because these rocks are only indigenous to the Hijjar's mountains. Big news though.
It's not just Christian archaeologists who believe that the Garden of Eden could be located at the head of the Persian Gulf near Earth, but Ward Sanford, who is certainly not a theologian but a hydrologist with a PhD. He theorizes that in the ancient world there was a natural dam at the Straits of Hormuz, meaning that where there is now ample water at the Persian Gulf, it was once dry ground.
And it was there that he believes that the four rivers converged and right now he thinks that Eden is lost forever underwater at the Persian Gulf. A bit of a confession to make to you. I'm not totally satisfied. Yes, although I do think that this probably is the real location of where Eden is to be found, or or at least it's very close to that area. There is still one huge question which lingers in my mind, and it led me to coming up with my own
kind of theory. Now guys, I'll be honest, my theory isn't really worth mentioning at all. So let me share something with you far, far more important than any of these theories. And then, if you're still here at the end, I'll share with you my more off the curb kind of theory. My dear friends, what is the most important part of this video? Well, it's this. What if we aren't supposed to find Eden? Like what if it's inaccessible
for a reason? What if it's because we as a world have fallen so far from God with our sin? The Divine Presence has now gone. Our sin has separated us from a holy God, and thus we have been driven out of paradise. I actually do believe that another possibility is that the Pishon and the Guihon River dried up as a sign. It's a sign of how spiritually dry we've become as people. But the sad reality is many of us are thirsty, but we refuse to drink of the rivers of living
water. There is good news though, because there is another Eden. There is an Eden that can never be lost, for it is held by someone who is eternal, and this eternal one has ensured that paradise will be regained. Jesus Christ, the last Adam restored Eden for us when he brought us back into fellowship with God by taking our sin. And although we deserve to be sent E like Adam and Eve, Jesus Christ took our sin and he separated it.
As far as the East is from the West, He removed it no more so that you and I can be forgiven. Because Jesus Christ left his paradise in heaven and entered into our lost world, our lost Eden. He died on that cross for you and me. Though we were lost sinners, He died for us in our place so that we can be forgiven. And if we put our trust in Him, know this, we too can enjoy Eden
for all of eternity. In the last book of the Bible, Revelation, it says that the new city of Jerusalem will come down to earth. And I truly do believe that that Eden will once again be restored on Earth. But here's the most important thing. If you remember one thing from this video, remember this. Do you know where the real location of Eden is? It's not to be found. Where there is palm trees, there's rivers, there's fruits, there's beautiful things.
No, the real location of Eden is to be found where Christ is, Where Christ is, That's where Paradise is. Do you remember that man who was dying next to Jesus on the cross when he realized who Jesus was? When he realized that this man was the Son of God and he trusted in him?
What did Jesus say to him? Surely this day I tell you, you will be with me in paradise because Christ knew that anyone who trusts in him will find peace, will find Paradise, will find Eden, because the location of Eden is where Jesus is. So if you're watching this right now and you are a born again Christian, can I tell you, you don't need to find the location of Eden because you've already found it in Jesus Christ.
And if you're watching this right now and you have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, can I say this Eden is available for you right now is all you have to do is call on the name of the Lord and he'll save you and he'll give you paradise. Right now, Paradise will be regained for anyone who turns to him. OK, you've been very patient. So what is this big question that has been left in my mind from the Persian Gulf theory?
Well, the Bible says now a river went out from Eden to water the garden and from there it parted and became 4 riverheads. So in other words, the original Eden would not be at the base of four rivers meeting, but it would be at the head of the river, it would be at the source of the river.
And that is why another historian, David Roll, he says he proposes the idea that Eden is actually in Persia, right at the top of the source of the river and he says it's covered now by a city called Tabriz. He uses similar arguments to the ones we've heard before, that the Cassites, they were the people of Kush and he also also proved that the river Jizal Ozan, which means golden, that could be the river Pishon because there was gold also found in that area.
And then the Gale Hon Aras that would be the Guihon River which also begins next to the Euphrates and next to the source of where the Tigris river starts in the northern Persian
mountain. David also discovered that east of this region, east of the Garden of Eden, what he believes is an area called upper and lower Nakadi, which can be translated to mean Nod. And do you remember Kane when he was driven out of the Garden of Eden, he was driven to the east, to the land of Nod. But I can hear exactly what you're saying right now. You're saying, Joe, that isn't your theory. So what is your off the curb
theory? Well, I've been thinking as I've looked over many of these theories, some of them, yes, I think we can rule out totally. But there does seem to be a grain of truth in all of them. I mean, for instance, what about the land of Kush? Why have we always known
Ethiopia as the land of Kush? For some reason it doesn't rest well with me to just write that off and say no no longer we're saying that that is Kush. So what if when Pangia was that super constant, if you look at the map, Ethiopia, if you bring it together, it comes very, very close to Persia. So what if the river Guillon really did start at the same source right next to Persia because Ethiopia was so close. And that's where the Tigris, the Euphrates, and the Pichon River
started. And And then what if after the days of Noah we lost it? It was gone forevermore as as the consonant started to to rift apart. And then Eden was meant to be restored in the Temple. And then, as you know, that also went. But then it was finally restored. Eden came back through the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, and it'll be never gone through him. Those are just my thoughts. It's just a theory.
But hey, now perhaps you're saying I don't understand how because Adam and Eve sinned, we also have lost Eden. Well, if you're asking that question, you've got to see this video. And if you did find this video, now that you've just watched in any way helpful, please would you do a favour for me and please subscribe. I really would appreciate your friendship on this channel. God bless you all and thank you for watching.
