Episode description

The biblical Ark of the Covenant has been in the headlines recently and now someone has come forward claiming they tracked it down in the 80s, whilst Ron Wyatt and others who follow his archaeological discoveries claim he found it at Calvary. For entertainment purposes let's investigate these claims and then talk about the most important truth of the Bible.

It has just been announced that the CI as remote viewer has been identified and what he claims is absolutely bonkers. I can't believe I'm saying this, but new information is now emerging about the CI as claim to the location of the Ark of the Covenant. Are you ready for this? We'll strap on your seatbelts because now we've got a name. Meet Major Ed Dames, a former CIA remote viewer who's come forward claiming that he knows where the Ark is. That's right. According to him, he used his

mind, not maps or drones. He used his mind to track it down. And if you think that sounds kind of sketchy or you're not alone. However, for entertainment purposes only, let's ask the question, who is this guy? Ed Dames worked for the CIA in the 1980s as part of Stargate Project, a classified program where the CIA basically trained people to be psychics. What was their job? It was to use remote viewing, which is essentially seeing things from a distance using the

power of your mind. The program was eventually scrapped in 1995 because, surprise, surprise, it wasn't delivering solid intelligence. I will say this though, I do believe that this kind of stuff, it does produce results and we're going to find out the claims of Major Ed Dames in a moment. But never forget, the Bible has made some pretty strong commands against those who try to gain hidden knowledge through unusual means. So take all of that into your mind and let's test to see if

Dames is telling the truth. And let's see if what he says contradicts the other claims that other people have made about the Ark of the Covenant's whereabouts. Listen to this Dame says he performed a technical remote viewing session last year, and from it he pinpointed the Ark's location within metres. And where does he say it is? Hidden underground? In The Cave of Patriarchs in Hebron, in the West Bank. But come on now, let's be honest with one another. This place is no random cave.

It's meant to be the site where Abraham and Jacob were placed. But here's the problem. No one is allowed to just waltz in there. And and start digging because this cave is highly protected. But over to you. What do you think? Does that sound accurate, or is this all very convenient? It does get worse, though. During his remote viewing session, Dames described being inside a stone tunnel, feeling uneasy, even scared. He saw a boxy, heavy object, something sacred, something

ancient. He said when he was there, he'd never felt anything like it before. Am I the only one who feels feels very uncomfortable when I hear this? Because back in his CIA days, Dames had actually used the Ark as a training target for his other remote viewers. And guess what? One of those early exercises already suggested that the Ark was somewhere in the Middle East. So I'll ask you again, is all of this legit? Well, the fact is this, there's no way to verify this claim.

And moreover, there are other theories where the Ark is today that say the complete opposite to Dames. And in just one minute I'm going to share some of them with you. But let's not forget, even Dames himself admits that remote viewing doesn't always hold up to Western scientific standards. It's what we call fringe science. But hey, on the other hand, the USA were willing to throw $20 million into this project, so clearly someone thoughts it was

worth exploring. I know what some of you are thinking though. Although you strongly disapprove of this method, you're wondering what if he is right? What if Dames really did find it? OK, well here's the thing. If the Ark is hidden in The Cave of Patriarchs, or if it's hidden somewhere else on Earth, does that mean we'll ever see it? I'm not so sure.

But that being said, those who do believe the Ark is still with us often also believe it will once again be shown to the world when things really start to get heated just before the return of Jesus Christ. But right now is all you need to remember is this. If Dames is actually correct, This site is heavily restricted. And even if permission were granted, history teaches us it's never gone too well for anyone who's laid their unwelcome hands on it in the past.

Has it? But hey, now, here's the answer you've all been waiting for. Who else, apart from Major Ed Dames, has also made claims to find the location of the Ark of the Covenant? I am going to choose my words carefully now, but sometimes people bring up an ancient prophecy that has recently resurfaced. This claims that the Ark of the Covenant was hidden by an Angel just before the Babylonians invaded Jerusalem in 586 BC.

According to this prophecy, the Ark was put underground and it will only be revealed when the Holy Land is restored. Now I'll be clear, there is absolutely no scriptural basis for this prophecy and it's not part of the Bible. It comes from the Apocalypse of Baruch, a non canical text from around the first or second century BC.

So we're already stepping into on biblical land here, and while it might sound like an intriguing story, ultimately it's just a tale with no foundation in Scripture. So why do I share this? Well, I think, and I could be wrong, but I think it's important to be a little bit clued up on some of these things, especially when they might come up in a conversation or for me, for example, when I'm doing St. evangelism. And in that way, I can address

them with clarity. OK, now you've probably already heard of Ron Wyatt, but in case you haven't, he was an amateur archaeologist who I think found some pretty incredible biblical discoveries like Noah's Ark and even the real Mount Sinai in the

1980s. Now Ron also said that he found the Ark of the Covenant near the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, which is a bit different from Ed Dames because he says it was found in The Cave of Patriarchs. Wyatt Theory was the ark was hidden in a cave right underneath the Calvary site, and he says this is exactly where he found it and some other ancient artifacts and some other things that he even tested in a lab. On the other hand, The Ethiopians have a totally

different narrative. They claim that they have had the ark all along, hidden safely in the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in Axiom, Ethiopia. If you ask the locals, they'll say it's been there since the time of many Link, the son of the Queen of Sheba. But even then, some scholars, including Edward Ullendorf, have cast out on this, suggesting that the Ark might just be a replica. So here's one thing that is clear. Everyone's got their own version of where the Ark is.

And personally, I'm not convinced by any of these ideas. I lean towards the fact that the Ark of the Covenant is now in heaven. Why? Well, listen to Revelation 11, verse 19. Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the Ark of the Covenant was seen in his temple. Again, I'm not the guy with all of the answers, but that verse to me does seem like it's in the heavenly temple according to

John's vision. Now, some might argue that the emphasis in that verse is on the ark of his covenant, and they'd say that the ark on earth was merely a model of the one in heaven, just like the earthly temple was patterned after the heavenly one. Either way, it's fascinating to think about where one of the world's most precious objects is today. And of course, for me, as an evangelist, it's a tremendous opportunity to share one of the world's most important messages with you today.

So if you haven't already noticed, we have quickly moved away from the entertainment part of this video, and now it's time to talk about the truth. So what do I want to say to you? Let's not get too bogged down in all these details. There's something about these stories and these claims that, yes, it keeps bringing people back. Why? Because it hints at something deep, something hidden, something to do with the ark that could one day be revealed. And I do get it, I really do.

We all love a good mystery, right? But let's not forget, this doesn't change anything about what the Bible teaches. The full, complete Word of God is in the Scriptures, and we have it today. Nothing is missing and there is nothing needed to be added to it. So while it's fun to talk about these stories, it's also important that we stay grounded. The real focus should be on the message of the Bible and the truth we can find in it. Now, and I'll say it again, the

Word of God is complete. The gospel is here, and we don't need secret revelations to lead us to God's plan. And although you might look for alternate messages, I truly do believe the greatest message is here, a message greater than any of these captivating theories. It's the gospel itself, Jesus Christ. He talked about hidden treasures, about seeking and finding, and he also talked about how what was once lost can be restored through him.

The ark was a symbol of God's presence among his people. And today people are searching not just for relics, but they are searching for the truth about God, who He is and what He's done. And yet they don't need to look any further than God's Son, Jesus Christ, for He is the image of the invisible God. Friends, there's one truth that's not hidden in a cave. There's one truth that's not locked away in some ancient prophecy or some lost artifacts.

And that's the gospel, the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Unlike all these prophecies, the gospel isn't something we have to wait for or wonder about. It's all already been revealed to us in the Bible. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died for our sins so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. And here's the best part. This gift is available to everyone who believes in Him. No secrets, no mysteries, just

pure grace. So can I ask you, have you believed on Him? Do you look for extra profits, for extra biblical texts, for extra revelations? Are you always looking for these extra things, or are you satisfied with Jesus Christ alone? Are you satisfied to know that all of your sins, past, present and future, were pinned to that cross?

They were taken to Calvary and when Jesus Christ cried out, it is finished, He meant it. Your sins, the debt of your sins, can be torn into, gone forever, and you can be saved and forgiven. Have you found that for

yourself? Have you trusted in the one who's risen from the grave or you continue to search the Internet to search books, to search magazines, to keep looking for more and more information when right in front of you is the Pearl of great price and is all you need to do is take hold of that treasure and hold on to it and the Lord will save you and take you to heaven to be with him for all of eternity. Let me finish by saying this.

I'm aware I've disappointed a few of you guys because you know that I also do believe that Ron Wyatt has found many discoveries and you're scratching your head thinking, but why is it that you don't think he found the ark of the covenant? Well, I'm just going to say this very, very gently. He might have OK, I'm, I don't know everything. I'm not God, you know that, but I just the claim about the

blood. For me, there is nothing, nothing more precious than the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And if we got this wrong, if we're saying that this is the blood of Christ, I just think we need to be very, very careful

making a claim like that. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me. And if you want to see how much of a fan, shall we say I'm a Ron White, you can check out all of these videos and all of the discoveries that I think the Lord led him to find because I think he was used as a vessel of God to find many wonderful things. Thank you for watching. And if you haven't yet subscribed, please do. God bless you all.
