I put every insane biblical discovery on a map and I promise you it's going to blow your mind. Watch this. This is the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea, and in 1947, a group of shepherd lads were tending their flocks on the cliffs when one of their sheep ran into a cave. So the leader of the group picked up a rock and threw it into The Cave, hoping that somehow this would scare the sheep out. But to his surprise, he heard a distinct sound, the sound of
pottery smashing. The boy was now very curious, so he crawled into The Cave to find a collection of clay jars, each containing ancient scrolls wrapped in linen. When the young man got home, he said, Mum, dad, look what I found today whilst looking after the sheep. But even his parents didn't realise the significance of their son's discovery until they showed the scrolls to the local antiquity dealers in Bethlehem. Do you know what happened next?
The scrolls were tested and dated to be between 300 BC and one 100 AD, making them the oldest known copy of the biblical manuscripts with every Hebrew book in the Bible collected there except for the book of Esther. And also very interestingly, extra biblical texts were found alongside it, like the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees. But guys, I can assure you of one thing.
When this shepherd boy discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls, it silenced a lot of critics because it proved that the Bible we have been reading had indeed been preserved over these thousands of years and had not been changed because the earlier manuscripts were pretty much exactly the same as the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls. I'm not going to lie to you, this next discovery, if it is the real deal, it is the most incredible archaeological find in history, but many think it's
far too good to be true. In 1959, a Turkish pilot was flying over Mount Ararat when he decided to take a photo of this unusual boat shaped imprint in the ground. The picture later reached Time Magazine's desk and they simply published the photograph with the title Noah's Ark Question Mark. This enthralled the mind of a budding archaeologist, Ron Wyatt, who eventually made the trip to Turkey and conducted many tests.
It is absolutely critical to understand that over 100 expeditions to Mount Ararat had already taken place with non producing any observable evidence that Noah's Ark is out there. So here is why I personally believe it is on the Jurapenar site and after you've heard all of the info I'll leave the ball in your court.
Whether you choose to believe if this is the real Noah's ark or not, the Bible tells us in Genesis 8 verse four that the final resting place for Noah's ark was the mountains of Ararat. And where do you think this boat like imprint was found in the mountains of Ararat? In the Bible we are also told that the ark IS300 cubits long, which if you convert that into feet, may makes 515 feet. And how long was the ark? When Ron Wyatt and his team measured it, it was 515 feet.
I almost hesitate to say this, but some people doubt that this is Noah's ark because they are unsure of some of Ron Wyatt's other discoveries. As you can probably guess, I believe Ron found a number of things even though he was only an amateur archaeologist. But if that is what stops you from taking the boat sized imprint seriously, listen to this. Firstly, the other secular archaeologists confirmed that this object was indeed a boat of
some kind. In 1987 the Turkish government after sending their own scientists to examine the area, how the ceremony to declare that this place was a National Park containing the real Noah's Ark. And if you ever do drive to this place, you will see many signs that will help you find your way because they all point and say Noah's Ark in this direction.
But perhaps most convincing of all are the 3D GPR surveys that are still being done today, with a collection of the most recent scans being done by a team of Turkish government scientists and an organization called Noah's Ark Scans. These scans reveal cavities and chambers beneath the ground, which also form the uncanny shape of a boat. But hey now, later in the video, I'm going to show you another insane discovery by Ron Wyatt that does get a mixed reception.
But first, here is an archaeological structure that even atheists cannot deny. If we fly from Turkey to the coast of Israel, we'll find an ancient city built by King Herod the Great in 25 BC called Caesarea Maritimer. Are you imagining this right now? Because this exciting structure lay covered by sand and silt until the 19th century when it was excavated and there they
found a Roman theatre. Inside this theatre was a block of limestone, and in 1961 this block of limestone was uncovered to reveal massive piece of evidence proving the authenticity of the Biblical Gospel. Pilot's inscription, as it was later named, can be translated to say Tiberian Augustus. Pontius Pilate, the prefect of Judea, dedicated this to the people of Caesarea.
Does that ring a bell at all? This is proof that there really was a Roman governor that was in charge during the time of Jesus. And so here's the big question, if there really was a man called Pontius just Pilate who handed Jesus over to the death on the cross, if that's a fact, why was this innocent man dying? Could it be that he was dying on that cross for the payment of your sins that need to be forgiven and washed away because you, like me, are guilty before a holy God?
Whilst you consider that most thought provoking question, check out this next interesting location on the map. Let's jump over to Babylon in the region of Mesopotamia, or more precisely, the region surrounded surrounding the Tigris and the Euphrates River. Because people are massively divided on the location of the real Garden of Eden. Some claim that it's in Persia, but most Bible scholars and archaeologists agree that it is likely to be here.
Why? Well, as Doctor James Sauer and Joel Kramer demonstrated, it's likely that the mysterious Pishon River is the Wadi Batten River. And the other elusive river, the Gihon, could actually also be the modern day Quran River. The Bible actually says in Genesis 2 verse 10. Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became 4
riverheads. However, it appears when we look at the map that the Persian Gulf is the only river that branches off into these four separate rivers. But wouldn't that mean that the river is now in reverse? I'm not so sure about all of this, but there's one thing we do know, and it's this. If it is really Eden, it is now entirely covered by water, which is also something that scientists believe about the Persian Gulf today, that it was once indeed dry land between you and me.
Although I do believe that this is the likeliest location for the Garden of Eden, I'm not so sure we were ever meant to find the true place, the true Eden. I mean, after all, God did place cherubim to block the entrance to the Garden for a reason. And I truly do believe that paradise has been lost for mankind, but Eden can be restored. To all those who believe that Jesus died, He was buried, and he rose again, and now He is the savour of the world.
Can I ask you, do you believe that if today was your last day on earth, can Jesus say to you like He said to the other man dying on the cross next to him, Today you will be with me in paradise. So I want you guys to travel back to Israel with me because there are three discoveries that I want to draw your attention to #1 the Western Wall.
You probably already know that the Second Temple was destroyed in seven AD, just like Jesus said would happen in Luke 21 verses 5 to 6. But did you know that since the 1860's the Temple Mount area has been excavated?
From these excavations they found a large remnant of the Second Temple, one of its outer walls, which has now been called the Western Wall. They also found a monumental staircase from the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount, which has been famously named the Robinson's Arch, as well as finding many other artifacts like pottery, coins, and inscriptions, all coming from the Second Temple period #2 the Teldan Steele, which was found in Galilee, Which just to say
again, was only discovered very recently in 1993. But I know what you're thinking though. It's just a big rock. Well, this rock holds the Aramaic inscription that dates all the way back to the 9th century BC. In the text, it records a victory by an unnamed king over the House of David, not David
himself. Now this, as far as we know, is the earliest known reference of King David's dynasty outside of the Bible, proving that the man after God's own hearts really did exist #3 which is also a pretty monumental discovery. Which was found a little further away in Mount Ebal in Shechem or the modern day Nablus in the West Bank. It was initially rediscovered by a guy called Edward Robinson in the 1830s and what they found was very, very impressive.
Under normal circumstances, an ancient Canaanite temple, the remains of an old city with walls and gates would make any archaeologist do backflips. But upon further investigation over the years by other archaeologists, they uncovered Jacob's well, which is believed to be the same well where Jesus met the Samaritan woman and showed her her sin and her need
of him. At Mount Ebal, a large stone altar was found, which is believed to be the altar of Joshua, where Joshua made a covenant with the Israelite people after God had given them the victory in a place called I. I think we're going to go back to this area a little bit later on, but right now let's revisit Babylon again. Did you know that they have found the Tower of Babel near the area of Hillar? Some other huge things were also found in the early 1900s by archaeologists.
Are you ready to see some of them? Well not only did they find the world famous Ishtar Gate during excavations, but they found the Entanaki ruins of the remains of a cigarettes, which is the strongest candidate we have for the Tower of Babel. Of course you guys knew that we were going to bounce back to Israel.
Why? Because inside this little country are some of the biggest gems in world history, including the walls of Jericho. A gentleman by the name of Charles Warren started things off by finding some ancient walls. Then in the 1930s, another gentleman called John Garstang found even more ancient walls and the Tell S Sultan Mound, which is the pinnacle of the main sites. Then in the 1930s, a lady called Kathleen Kenyon uncovered all of the walls of Jericho with her
team. These are the famous walls that fell when the Israelites circled around them seven times and the Lord gave them a victory. But I hear exactly what you're saying. You're saying, Joe, how do we know that these are actually the real walls of Jericho? Well, apart from the precise location, archaeologists found evidence that the walls had collapsed suddenly.
They did this by doing something called stratigraphy, where they studied the layers of the ground, and we can see from looking at the layers that these walls had actually been rebuilt years later. Oh, and by the way, the walls actually date back to 1400 BC, which matches precisely the same time as the biblical accounts, right?
Allow me to introduce you to everyone's favorite biblical discovery, the Pool of Siloam. In two, 1004, in the city of David, which is the oldest part of Jerusalem, construction workers were fixing a drainage pipe when they accidentally found some ancient steps. What was beneath these steps was about to silence a whole bunch of Jesus.
Skeptics, archaeologists Ronnie Reich and Eli Shukran were called, and together with a team they found that these mysterious steps LED down to the Pool of Siloam mentioned in the Gospel of John Chapter 9. So again, I hear you. You ask, how do we know that this is the same pool of Siloam? But because according to the biblical account, the pool of Siloam is located next to the Temple Mount, and it receives
water from Hezekiah's tunnel. Hezekiah, by the way, was the king which built this tunnel during his reign to transport water. So where was this pool that these construction workers stumbled upon? It was next to the Temple Mount and right next to Hezekiah's tunnel. It's essential you remember that this discovery ruffled quite a few feathers because skeptics often claim that the Gospels were mythical and there was no proof of places like the Pool of Siloam ever existing.
But this discovery certainly makes people think again about the place where Jesus healed that blind man by placing some clay over his eyes and telling him to wash in the pool of Siloam. Now, of course, whether you accept the miracle to be true is another matter. As you know, I do. As a Christian and as an evangelist, I would long to see a greater miracle happen in you, and that is that you would go and wash yourself in the pool of
God's forgiveness. If you wash there, just like the blind man who was washed in Siloam and received sight, so you also, if you wash in God's pool of forgiveness, you will find that the Lord God Himself will open your blind eyes and show you what you've been missing out on for all these years. His love. But let me let you into another secret. This was not the greatest miracle that Jesus ever did.
The greatest miracle he ever did was to rise from the dead so that he can give us eternal life and empty our grave if we let him. Let's run over to the Gulf of Aqabar in the Red Sea, because this, as I said earlier, is one of the discoveries that many Christians doubt. I meet them all the time and they say this didn't really happen. This isn't legit. I personally think it is, but I'll let you decide. Ron Wyatt, who we met before, is known for another very different
hypothesis. For years, tourists have been visiting the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, believing that this is the place of the real Mount Sinai. Now before I show you where Ron believes it is, check this out. In the Red Sea. Ron claims that these are chariot wheels, the same chariot wheels that we know came off when the Egyptians pursued the Israelites whilst God split the Red Sea. So take all of that into your mind and stop me if I get something wrong.
If you cross the Red Sea from the Gulf of Aqaba, you will arrive in Saudi Arabia in the Tabuk Province. And to be even more more precise, in a place called Jabal al Laws, this is where Ron conducted hours and hours of research to show the world that we might be wrong about the location of Sinai. How can he make such a strong claim though? Well, firstly because the locals in the area have historically believed that they own the real Mount Sinai. But also take a look at this.
This is the top of the supposed Mount Sinai. I mean, you've got to admit it is an incredible coincidence that it has blackened peaks. And if you actually inspect the rocks individually, you will find them to be charred, to be burned, which would match the description of when God descended on Mount Sinai in fire to give Moses the 10
commandments. We know that the scripture even goes as far to say that the mountain was covered with smoke, like the smoke that would billow out of a brick kiln. This split rock formation is also pretty hard to explain away as it shows some signs of water erosion just like what you'd imagine the rock of Horeb, which is the described in the Bible to look like after Moses had struck it and the Lord provided water for all of the people to drink. OK, so here is the plot twist no
one was expecting. As much as I admire Ron Wyatt and I appreciate his discoveries, there is actually 1 discovery that I'm not so sure about. There's one discovery I don't actually know if he did really find. If you want to know which one it is, you better watch this video right away.
