Nobody believes. The Bible is true right? Wrong here are five archaeological discoveries. That prove the Bible is true. Number one, the pool of Siloam. The pool of Siloam is one of the most famous passages in all of the Bible, Jesus notices as a blind man seok there. So he kneels down and gets down onto his level.
And then Christ does something rather unusual heat spits on the ground and then creates a sort of clay with his fingers, he takes that clay and he anoints it on the Blind Man's eyes and says, go wash this pool, the pool of Siloam the blind man obeys and immediately, those blind eyes can suddenly see. But here's what's interesting until very recently, Skeptics used to say, where is this pool of Siloam?
It doesn't even exist. Well, in 2004, a large drainage pipe in Jerusalem needed fixing so construction work. Began to dig the ground to try and solve the problem as they dog. They notice something very peculiar. They saw some large Stone steps. So they called to archaeologists Ronnie Reich and Eli chakra.
And when these two men saw, what was beneath the ground as they dug further with other archaeologists, they uncovered multiple steps and a pool, which was 225 feet long, but how do we know that this pool is the pool of Siloam? Well, there are two Clues. The first one is this, it was found in the city of David next to the Temple Mount.
Exactly the scripture tells us and the second clue is this right at the end of this pool was Hezekiah, is tonal, which is something that King Hezekiah Dugout as an irrigation system again, just like the Bible tells us number two pilots inscription. It wasn't that long ago since people doubted the existence of Pontius pilate's. This is the man who officiated the Try and let the Lord Jesus Christ. And when he looked at Jesus life, he said, I find no guilt in this man, because Jesus was
the only one to be morally. Perfect. But after 1961, no one would dare question the reality of this real person Pontius Pilate Maria Theresa was digging in an old ancient Roman Theater in caesarea Israel. When she found a limestone Rock, carved into the Rock. Read these words to the Fine, augusti. This Tiberian Pontius pilate's. Prefect of Judea has dedicated this. It was later dated to make sure
it was totally legit. And the time period came back as a d26 to a d-36 the years, when Pontius pilate's was active. But, hey, now it's also worth noting that there are also some ancient bronze pilot coins which have also been discovered and what date do they date back to? 29 number three, the tel Dan Stanley, now, most biblical Scholars, would all agree that this is the most earth-shattering find out of all of the archaeological discoveries in Biblical history.
I wonder if I asked you apart from Jesus Christ, who is the greatest King in the Bible? Who would you say? I think most of you would say, King David here, is this king who had a vast huge expansive kingdom. Here is this king? Who was so, Grateful was The Greatest Warrior here, is this king who out of his, very lineage came the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, and yet for many years, there were claims that were false claims swimming
around the world. That David was just a fantasy character that this man David did not exist. And again, the Bible cannot be historically accurate, but in 1993 and archaeologists discovered, the Canaanite inscription in Tel, Dan Northern Israel.
The stone, which had been written in Aramaic has been traced back to the 9th century BC, and the likely candidates the person behind this inscription is likely to be king Hezekiah as it describes his triumphant victory over jehoram, the son of Ahab, who was from the House of David. This showdown is actually also recorded in the Bible in second Kings chapter 2. So, here we are. Here, you have it. Here is an extra-biblical. Document A source outside of the Bible which proves that David
was a real person. Number four, the erastus engraving. The Bible says, in Romans 16 verse 23, Gaius my host, and the host of the whole church grease. You erastus, the treasurer of the city greets, you and caught us a brother. We actually only meet this person, erastus a few times in the Bible, but it is believed that this man who was a Treasurer was also part of the 72 who Jesus sent out in loot turn?
Now, take a look at this in 1929 and archaeologists discovered this inscription, and it's believed to date all the way back to a D50. It reads. Erastus, in return for his, a dealership laid this pavement at his own expense. Okay, for me, personally, the fact that this pavement stolen was found in Corinth, the place where erastus was a civil servant, and the fact that erastus, Was a Treasurer meaning, you had a bit of spare
cash in his pocket. So we really could afford to lay down a pavement, which is something and I'm guessing you. And I probably couldn't afford to do the fact that all of this came together that really sells it to me and I personally believe this is the same. Erastus, the Apostle Paul refers to several times newsletters, but over to you, what do you think? Do you think this is the same man? And do you think that this inscription help sort of give credibility to the fact that the
bible really was right? About real people who existed a real time and not just fictitious characters like the skeptic or the atheist might accuse us of number 5, Mars Hill. Now, I know what you're thinking you're saying, come on Joel. That's not an archaeological Discovery and you're right, it's not but it does prove the point I was trying to make earlier, this is not a fake place, we're not talking about Charlie Brown and his best friend.
Barney the dinosaur, the walking on the Land of Nod. Now we're talking about Real people in real places at a real historical time. The Bible says, then Paul, stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said, you men of Athens, I perceive that in all things, you are too superstitious and some of you think we Christians are too superstitious. But do you notice Athens is a real place.
Some of you watching this video live in Athens, some of you watching this video, have stood on the real Hill, the Mars Hill. These are real times that And many people think the people writing the Bible, they ate something a bit sketchy and it
altered their mind. But if you read it, if you really take the time to read this book, you'll realize that it is a rational book written at a real historical time on this Earth. And these were real people just like you and just like me. Now, listen to me, I believe, if you met the real Paul, the same Paul who preached on Mars Hill, I believe he'd say this to you. You mr.
Atheist or mrs. Skeptic, the Bible says, for since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes have been clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and godhead so that they are without excuse, I'll friends. I think you know that God exists. I think, you know, as Paul said you are without excuse, when you look around all the design, all the beauty you've got to say there is a It's who made all of this. So, why why do you ignore this
factual book? Why did you try and push in the corner? And never think about it. Why do you never ever want to find out? Who this man, Jesus Christ is, why were you do anything anything, go anywhere, but never go into a church where the gospel is preached. I'll tell you why, because, you know, if you meet the Risen, Lord things will have to change. You will have to give up sins that you love, and you will have to realize that you are not the boss of your life.
Life. Jesus Christ, is the boss of your life and you need to Bow, the knee to him and Obey him as Lord. But again I can hear exactly what some of you are thinking you're saying Joe, I just need more evidence in this whole video. You've given me no evidence. Why can't Jesus Christ? If he really wants people to believe in him, why can't he just appear in the sky? Just five seconds and cry out in the most loudest? Booming voice? Why can't? He say, I'm real.
Everyone obey me. Follow me then I My trust in, Jesus Christ. What can I say this? I don't want to offend anyone, but I truly believe, even if that happened, you'd still remain stubborn. Why? Because Jesus Christ himself said, even if people see me, nailed to that cross and then rise again, on the third day, they still won't believe and that right there was a prophecy, a prediction and it really did come true. People saw with their own eyes.
The crucified Christ, they saw him Days Later risen from the dead and they still said, I do not want to put my trust in this. Man. Jesus guys the Bible isn't wrong when it says the True Believer he walks by faith not by sight. And I'm asking you right now today are you willing to walk by faith and not by sight? I don't know. If you ever heard of the man called Thomas Thomas was one of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and unfortunately, he wasn't there.
When the disciples first went to the tomb when all the disciples are bustling and they're excited saying, Jesus Christ is risen from the dead Thomas didn't believe. He said unless I take my finger and puts it in his hand prints where the nails went, I won't believe unless I take my hand and put it in his side I still won't believe. And as Thomas is speaking the Lord Jesus Christ appears right in the middle and he says, Thomas it's me.
Come on, take your finger and puts it in the handprint there, and take your hand and just put it in my side. Yes, I the Son of God but glorious one who, Young Stars into space. You created the universe. I'm willing to be examined by a fallen human being like you you can touch me, you can provide me because I want to help you believe and that same Lord Jesus Christ who was willing to be prodded and touched by Thomas is the same Lord. He says I want to help you believe.
I want you to examine the evidence and believe in me the Son of God. But Jesus also said something else that day Thomas because you have seen me. You have believed blessed are those who have not seen? And yet believed? And I wonder if there's people watching this right now and although you are not there, although you did not see the crucified Lord, Jesus at Calvary, you're saying, I know my sins were dealt with on that cross. I know that the blood of Jesus
Christ has washed away my sins. I wonder now if there's people watching this video and you're saying to me, yes, Joe I never saw the Lord Jesus Christ risen from the dead. Add these eyeballs, never set their eyes upon the Risen Christ. But I know that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and I know that he's preparing a mansion in the sky for me right now and I ever hope beyond the grave and one day he's coming. Again, if that is you the Bible
says, you are blessed. And if today, you're looking at the evidence and you're looking at this man, the Lord Jesus Christ. And you feel as though Christ himself is speaking to you right now, I plead with you see the same gentle say If you want to calmly said to Thomas, take your finger, and put it in my hands and take your hand and put it in my side and believe you can hear the Lord.
Jesus Christ saying, believe on me, I plead with you do not look the other way but come to Christ right now. But hey guys I've actually got one more bonus.
