Episode description

Lukewarm Christian message for the youth on repentance and sin by Joe Kirby from Off The Kirb Ministries.

Transcript

The Lord spoke through the prophet Ezekiel. The I rowers had brought thee integrate Waters. In other words, you're swimming outside of your depth and some of you you simply will not like this message. In fact, some of you will hate this message, but I can't stay silent any longer. Some of you are in deep deep water, and I'm not going to stand here and watch you drown. The Bible says, the way of The Sinner is hard. And and right now, today you might be on smooth calm water.

So you might be sailing that boat to success, but I want to tell you something, mark my words, there's a storm and it's coming and it might just be coming for you. You do realize that sin will never pay. You a fair wage. Sin is like an old Chestnut. You plant it in the ground, and you forget, it's there years and years go by until one day, right? In your face. Is this huge chestnut tree and it Far too big for you to cut it down. Many a man in his youth, indulge this flash with sin.

He thought it was harmless. He thought it was fine. It was good. It was proper at the time and then he forgot about those sins. He tracked, those sins like dead man, out of sight, out of mind, but those dead men have risen again and they've come back to haunt him with the sins of the

past. Someone very close to me has a disability and if this person wants to go to the local supermarket, For Market to the local grocery store, and they want to park in the disabled marked Bays, which are closer to the store. They have a blue badge, and they put it on the dashboard of their window. Now, you know, was very frustrating, very often people who don't have a disability will steal the car parking space.

And this person who I love very much, has to get their wheelchair, asked to clamber out of the car and struggled to get to the shop and park a lot further away. Because I want to stolen their space. Now what the disabled Community is done about this is they have written a sort of motto, a sort of placard, and sometimes they stick it above the disabled marked bays and it goes like this. You can take my car park in space but take my disability with it.

And my dear friends. I think that's how many our Christian lives their lives. They want the instant gratification of sin. They want all of the pleasures of this world. But they're not prepared to walk. The Hardline that the sinner will walk. They're not prepared to share in the suffering that the unbeliever walk when they rebel against God's, they want the pleasures of heaven, but they also want the pleasures of this world. Why do I speak so harsh to you today?

I do it because I love you. Listen to me some of you right now. Listening to this video are 18, 19, 20 years old, when I was your age. I rebelled against God. Greatly and to this day years and years on, I still carry the scars of that sin. The scars still remain your life, is an investment and how you invest it in your youth. You will reap the Harvest of

what you have. Sown young man, young woman who ever, you are listening right now, if you have not yet experienced, the repercussions of sin. Do not Test the Lord. Thy, God, do not hang around to see if the word of God be true. True because I can promise you

one thing, it is true. And if right now you have the strength to swim away from those deep Waters, if you have strength to swim back to the shore, I plead with you, do it right now and repent today, but now let me speak to the man or woman who has already lived their life. Some of you have seen sin rear its ugly head. Some of you have seen how much it ruins and damages lies. Were you also have a duty of care? Warren the young. Pray for your children, pray for

your grandchildren. There is a message that the world does not want to hear. There's a message that he'll the demons, and the devil want to keep us silent as possible. But you have that message. You have a, hope you have a remedy and it's your duty of care to get that remedy out. Whats? The remedy is the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone can save Sinners. You might be sitting there right now. You might be thinking Joe. This message is just for me.

I rode myself out into deep Waters and I don't know what to do. Well, I want to tell you something. There is only one who can roll you out. You might be sitting there. And you might be saying, Joe I'm drowning in the Deep Waters. I can't swim. How do I escape? Well, don't panic because my lifeguard can walk on water. Whoever you are wherever you're from get into Jesus Christ Lifeboat today. Day because it's a big Lifeboat and it could carry the whole world.

If only the world would be willing to climb in, the Bible says, through the Lord's. Mercies. We are not consumed because his compassion's fail knots. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness, Although our sin May Scare us. Although we may bear the wounds from our Rebellion against God. Remember this every day. Is a new page and yesterday, you might have made a terrible mess, but know, this God's Mercy is bigger. Oh, how Faithfully is. Oh, how great is his

faithfulness? Just look at the cross. Look at the vast love that. God had for Sinners when Jesus died there for you, and I, and perhaps you're listening to this message right now and it's morning, or what do you need to do? You need to tap into those new Mercies? As which God has for you. This very day. Give thanks praise the Lord. Today that last night, your bed did not become a tomb.

Give, thanks that today. You have a fresh chance to be renewed, a fresh chance to repent, a fresh chance to serve the god that you love so much and be totally consecrated to him alone. My dear friends. We must never lose the value of one single hour. If you want to know how precious just one hour is go and sit with a father who Terminal cancer, and ask him how precious just one hour is with his children today. If you've got strength to swim away to repent, I beg you.

I plead with you, repent of your sins and get into the life raft, which is Jesus Christ. I'm not sure if this message has been helpful at all to you. If I'm honest. I found it very difficult to film. I actually left my battery all the way back in my house. I had to walk back for that, and then came back and started to film. And then I Realized that my microphone was switched off, so it's been sort of rushed and thrown together. So I do apologize for that.
