You can run from the police. You can run from your pasta, you can even run from prison, but you cannot run from God. Most people think that this is going to happen by round of applause. How many y'all think if the world were to end right now? Clap. If you think you'd go to heaven, the reality is God has to Serious judgments which affect every single person who can hear my voice right now. So you would be very wise to pay
close attention. Oh, y'all ain't going to No Heaven. Okay, firstly, the baima judgment and this judgment is for Christine's only. Make sure, you know that as you listen to this verse the Bible says for, we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ. That each one may receive. Leave the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad, this judgment seat is described 12 times in the Bible and it's used by this one word.
They mo now, a baby mama was a platform a seat where a judge would sit. And then people would come before that judge and they would bring their disputes and the church would judge fairly. It was also a seed that was featured in the Olympics, a platform where the contest judge would sit and then all of the successful, Competitors would stand and would receive their Awards.
When you stood before the bema seats, there was no faking it, everything was exposed all of your hard work that have been done in secret would be rewarded, but likewise those athletes whose heart was not in it, who had been slacking their training, who had not really run as they should have. They also would stand there and would not receive the reward because everything was revealed. When you stood before that, judge on the baima. Hey it is super important.
It's in to emphasize right now. But the bema seat has nothing to do with salvation. It's only to do with your Awards. There is nothing we can do to earn our Salvation. There is no work that we can give to contribute to our forgiveness of sins. Now, the only reason were saved is because of the one who sits on the bay, Mercy Christ Jesus himself, died on the cross, he gives us his righteousness and he forgives us of all our sins. But at the same time, just like a man who can smell fire
downstairs. So he jumps out Of his bedroom window. He lands safely but they're in front of him. He watches his house burned to Pieces, he suffers loss. I think, on that day, there will be mixed emotions for some of us. Perhaps some of us will think. Yes. Oh, thank you God, thank you that I'm saved. Thank you that my life is saved in, Jesus died for me but the same time. Oh, how? I wish, I did not live for a flea things. How I wish I built a treasure in heaven.
How I wish I didn't keep returning. It's that same sin over and over again because now I would be rewarded with a greater blessing. I think that's how many of us will feel on that day. There was once an Indian beggar who used to sit on a street by a busy road with a bowl of rice and passers-by would throw a few meager scraps of rice into the bowl so that the beggar might have something to eat one day. Is he sitting there?
He notices, this beautiful Grand chariots and the beggar sort of Praise or I hope I hope that the Chariot stops and the man Inside gives me something. And what do you think happened? The Chariot stopped and out stepped from The Chariot that Prince of India. Now as the Indian Prince looked at the bakery said to him, I want you to give me some of your eyes and the beggar. Almost speechless thought you the rich man, want me. The poor man to give you some
rice but he did. He gave him one grain of rice so then the prince said, come on. Now give me some more of your rice. Is that all you've got and now the back is getting angry, but again, Greedy gave him one piece of rice, and then the prince said, I want you to see how much out of your rice. You can afford to give me, give me some more of your eyes and the beggar. Almost fuming. Now, pulls out one, final piece of rice and says that's enough. So the beggar looks up at the
sky and almost disbelief. And then notices, The Chariot is left as he leaves. He looks down at his bowl and notice is there 12 Three pieces of gold in his bowl and suddenly it clicks. If only I gave the prince more of my rice, he would have given me more gold and my dear friends. That's exactly the same principle for us. We give the prince Jesus Christ, Our rice. It might not be much, but in heaven, he promises to reward us with his gold, okay? Over to you. I want you to think now of a
famous preacher. Have you got someone in your mind, right? I want you to imagine that preacher stands before the Judgment seat of Christ. And then you also stand before the Judgment seat of Christ. Who do you think will get a bigger reward them or you? Well, this might surprise you, but I wonder if you might just get a bigger reward. Why do I say that? Because Jesus warned those who have a public ministry, that's their reward. They have their reward in this
life. So the man, the preacher who sells a million copies of his book, The Man Who has a viral Video, the man who passed as a megachurch okay. It might be glorious. It might be glamorous now, but that is, as good as it gets, but on the flip side, however, the woman who in her twenties leaves, her comfortable, home, and goes, and becomes a missionary in a tribe. Somewhere in a forgotten jungle. She spends a whole lie. Single Lonely No. Children lives in a less than
perfect house. She has no pension and she doesn't even come home for a furlough that woman. Does it all for the Lord? Jesus Christ and the whole Doesn't care when that woman dies, but God cares. And God knows her name. Even though the rest of the world has forgotten about her. When she stands before the bay Mercy Seat, she will receive a spiritual gold medal. The many of these preachers who you think are so great. So wonderful will be right at the back of the line.
Jesus did warn us that whenever we seek to do a good work when we fast, when we pray, when we tithe, when we give out the gospel, the good news don't announce it with the trumpets, don't announce it. So that men and women Women might praise us because you will have a reward. People will praise you. If I post a video of me street, preaching people will say, oh, Joe is amazing.
You do that? But that's the only reward I will get, but if we do things in secret, we won't get a pat on the back in this life but we'll get a pat on the back in the next life in heaven. Here is the second judgment, Which is far more severe than the first. The Bible says, then I saw a great white throne and him Who sat on it and anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire. So here, the Apostle John stands, thousands of years ago and this is what is so
incredible. He sees every single unbeliever who has ever lived. That means he sees our mothers, our fathers, our grandchildren, our parents, our brothers, our sisters, our friends, down the street, our neighbors, all those, who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle John saw thousands of years ago. But I'll tell you one thing, you didn't see, he did not see one single believer because when Christ Jesus sits on the great white Throne judgment, it's not a judgment for believers.
It is a judgment solely, Braum Believers but John saw something else which I hope you will never forget this image. He saw the largest books that you could ever imagine far bigger than the world's largest book, right now, these books, An account held a record of every single sin that the unbeliever had committed. That means, every single lie was
written down. Every single blasphemy was written down, all of the Internet, history of all the unclean things, all the selfish thoughts, Every Idle Word, every fit of rage, every bit of Pride, and selfishness was written in these books and the books, go on and on page. After page, with this vast big debt that every single unbeliever owes friends, I meet People. And they say to me, when I get to heaven, I'm going to give God a piece of my mind. I'm going to say to him.
How can you not? Let me into your Heaven just because I've not been born again, just because I've not received the Forgiveness of sins that Jesus gives you should let me and I'm a good person know when you stand before God and you see those books opened and you see the Colossal weight of your sin, you will not utter a word because you know that Justice will be done. You know? That it is fair and it is right for you to be cast.
The Lake of Fire because you have done such wicked things against the holy righteous God, there was another book that John saw. He saw the Book of Life in that book is written every single believer who has ever lived. All those who have believed that God raised him from the dead and have trusted in the risen savior Christ Jesus himself, all those people are eternally secure and I suppose the only question I need to ask you right now is imagine we go to heaven and we
Open that book. WE peer in, would we find your name written in that book of life? Will you one day stand in front of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Judgment seat of Christ. Awaiting a reward from the one who has saved you or will you stand in front of the great white Throne, where your books have been opened? Your debt is there in front of you and you will be punished eternally because you rejected the one who sits on that Throne.
Today. This very day you have a chance Choice. You can either Let Jesus Christ. Take your enormous book and toss it, to the bottom of the ocean, because he dealt with your sin when he died on the cross or you can continue to add chapters to this book today, this very day, you can either choose to receive the love of God, where Christ was punished in fullness for every syllable that was written
in that book. Or you can receive the punishment yourself and pay for it when you see Christ at the great white Throne. Today this very day you Can either choose to Bow, the knee to the author of the book of life, or you can accept the consequences of self-publishing. The other bull friends, there is no judge like this.
Judge other judges, have sinned, other judges have done wrong things, but Christ Jesus has never done anything wrong and although Christ Jesus sits on the Judgment seat and he looks down at the criminals Christ. Jesus is the only church to step down from that judgment seat to take off his Of righteousness and to wrap the criminal in it, to say I will pay your fine. I will take your punishment that you deserve because I died on the cross and that criminal has a choice.
They can either gladly receive the mercy of the church, they can gladly receive that forgiveness. Or they can choose to receive the punishment themselves and be sent to hell for all of eternity. I'm going to pray that many unbelievers, watch this video and realize that they have a massive big book of all of the the records of all of their sin that they have committed and that they would ask the Lord Jesus Christ to have that book of sin transferred to his account and forgiving and dealt
with. But not only that, I'm going to pray that the book of life gets a little bit longer gets a little bit bigger because true. Sinners repent, turn from their sins, and put their trust in the Lord. Jesus Christ after watching this because the Bible says, there is much rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents and I hope Maybe just one, just one name today will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life, because they've received the Lord Jesus
