OK, I want you guys to take a look at these three emojis and then wait to see if you can guess correctly which of the seven deadly sins they represent. Are you ready? Well, let's go first one. What sin comes to mind? A crown, a mirror, and a sassy manicure. That's right, pride. The big one. The sin that says I am the main character and everyone else is just background extras. It's often called the queen of sins because it's where all the

others sprout from. It's the sin that got Lucifer kicked out of heaven. And it's the sin that very often stops people from coming to Jesus because they believe that they are already good people and they would never dream of crying out to God to have mercy on them for all of their wrongdoing. Now, if you found the first round difficult, this one gets much easier. Check this out. We've got money bags, a cash face and a bank.

Yes, I'm talking about greed. The one that whispers just a little more and then I'll be happy. But spoiler alerts you won't. It's just like what the genie said when Aladdin was considering using one of his wishes to make himself incredibly rich. Do me a favour, do not drink from that cup. I promise you there is not enough money and power on earth

for you to be satisfied. Hey, this next part's a little bit important so you might just want to catch this, but in a moment I'm going to share with you which of these embarrassing sins I personally struggle with the most, and I think the answer might just shock you. OK, we're in round 3 and we've got eyes, a broken heart and green. Have you got it? Envy. That's the sin that says why should they have what I don't?

Jealousy turns you bitter real quick, and it makes it nearly impossible to see the current blessings that God has placed in your life. Because as President Theodore Roosevelt once said, comparison is the thief of joy. Round 4. Now we've got a smirk, face fire and a kiss. Yes, it's lust. It's the one that promises thrill but leaves you empty. It's the sin that never satisfies and the one that no one ever likes to talk about. But we must bring this one to

light. Because out of all of these deadly sins, this is the one that grows in the dark, right? Trust me, if you've not guessed a single one correctly so far, you will get this one because it's pretty obvious. We've got pizza, burgers, fries. Come on. I'm talking about gluttony. We often think of overeating, but it's more than that. It's anything that we consume in excess, even Netflix or scrolling on videos all day

long. But the Japanese have a principle which they call Harahachi Boo, which effectively means stop eating once you are 80% full. And I think you and I could learn a thing or two from the Japanese because the Bible does warn about those whose God is their belly and whose appetite rules their lives. We are now down to the last two sins on our list. So here's number six. We've got an angry face fire and a comic style rage symbol. That's easy, isn't it?

Wrath or wrath? If you're American, you probably know that not all anger is wrong. For instance, being angry and injustice is actually a good thing. And Jesus himself showed righteous anger when he drove the money changers out of the Holy Temple. So what type of anger are we talking about? What type is actually wrong? Well, we're describing an anger which is out of control, like losing your temper over minor things.

For instance, when a driver uses all kinds of colorful language when they have road rage, or a person who goes crazy when you say or do something that offends them. And finally, our last on the list of the seven deadly sins is we have bed, a sleepy face, and a sloth. Well, the last emoji basically gave the game away, didn't it? Sloth. This isn't just laziness though. It's ignoring the good things that we should be doing, like when you procrastinate for three hours instead of doing your

homework or your chores. We sometimes go easy on this sin and even find it funny. But if you think it's a joke, just read the book of Proverbs. Because God's Word calls this person a sluggard and shows us that the slothful person effectively achieves nothing with their life. So come on now, talk to me. How many did you get right? 123 or even all 7. Well, here's the part you've all been waiting for. Which of these sins do you think

that I struggle with the most? Well, before I embarrass myself on the entire Internet, would you first let me know which of these seven deadly sins you also struggle with? Type yours in the comments section because it might just help someone else to not feel so alone in this. OK, it's my turn. In all honesty, I struggle with all seven of these sins in different ways, but if I could only pick one, if I'm completely transparent with you, it would

be lost. Now, if you only remember one thing from this video, remember this. For those of you who also struggle with lust, I want you to know something. It never truly disappears, even if you managed to completely stop watching. You know what? And that's really what happened to me. I thought once I escaped those lonely nights on the Internet and vowed to God that I would never do it again, my mind would be finally free. Well, all glory to God alone. He did set me free from watching

that stuff. But even years later, I'm still ashamed of some of the thoughts I think. You know, simple tasks like driving, walking down the street, and even going to the beach. I have to cover it in prayer because I know just how weak I am in this area. But hey, I know exactly what you're thinking right now. Well Joe, what's the point of quitting the other stuff if you're telling me years on later you're still struggling with lust even though you've got why?

Why should I bother quitting in the 1st place? Well, I can promise you this, things would be a lot easier if I did not waste my youth filling my mind with all of this junk for hours and hours daily. Guys, it is critical that you understand this. Your heart is like a garden and there are seeds that were planted in my garden at just 13 years of age which eventually one day would grow into a monstrous tree. A tree that was so big I could

never cuss it down. But the Lord Jesus Christ took his strong axe and he did chop it down for me. Friends, you do realize this, don't you, That whatever sins you struggle with, whatever the Goliath is in your life, God can give you the ability to defeat this sin. Will you still struggle with it? Yes. Just like David who did defeat Goliath after he took him down. He still had battles to face in his life.

And you will always battle. We'll never ever be the finished product until the Lord Jesus Christ returns. None of us are ever perfect. Are we only Jesus's. But the one who rose from the grave, the one who promises us from his resurrection, we are now dead to sin. He can give us hope, the Lord Jesus Christ. He can restore your dignity today and he can give you a new beginning. Why?

Because it's not just seven of the deadly sins that were paid for at Calvary, but thousands and thousands, millions and billions. Every sin that was ever committed was nailed to that cross with Jesus Christ, and he paid the price for those sins with his very blood. So even though we we do mess up, and we do, when God looks at us, he doesn't see our daily failures anymore. He sees us as pure as snow because Christ's blood has washed us clean and has made us righteous in God's eyes.

I do hope you know that personally for yourself. I do hope that you've believed upon the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and forgiveness. Because if you haven't, what are you waiting for? Humble yourself and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse you of all sin and to come and live side of your heart. But please listen to me. I can't just leave all of my precious brothers and sisters in Christ who are saying to me right now, yes, I am struggling with lust.

I can't leave you without offering you help today. And the best part of this help is it's totally free. So here's what you need to do. Grab your phone, open the You Version Bible app and search Purify Your mind series by Joe Kirby. That's Kirby. And there you will find all the lessons that God taught me over 12 years of struggle we've lost and all the biblical teachings and strategies that enabled me to eventually find V1 more

thing. A big thank you to everyone who supports my ministry through our website or through being a channel member. You are the reason why I'm able not to run adverts on my channel and also the reason why I'm able to offer all of these resources for free. So guys, I hold my hand up now and I refuse to take any credit, but I know you'd say all glory to Gods and I can Amen that too. Are you still here? Well, if you are, you've obviously got a few minutes to spare.

And if you do, please, please go and check out my insane video all about angels who appeared in the Bible.
