Hello. Eminem can even do it in slow motion. If you're wondering just what it is they are doing, listen to Katy Perry's explanation. I do this pose called doll eye. I can close one eye at a time and still like maintain all functions. I've sat in a hair and makeup
chair for 15 years. If they're putting eyeshadow on this eye and someone's putting my hair up into a French twist, I want to give notes in real time. But thousands of people do not believe her. They say she lost control when this happened on live TV. However, sometimes our eyes can play up for legitimate reasons, like what happened to Justin Bieber. As you can see, this eye is not blinking. I can't smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. And also this CNN reporter.
What? Happened to Aaron Burnett's eye. Aaron tried to mask the problem by looking down and turning to an extreme profile. Her guests expressed sympathy. And by the way, your eye doesn't look too bad. Oh well, it does anyway. But people are massively divided on what is going on with all of these celebrities eyes. In fact, even Jamie Foxx has got the Internet whispering. But as you can see, as you can see, the eyes are working.
Eyes are working just fine. OK, now perhaps you're outraged at what I'm suggesting, or maybe you just think this is all one big coincidence. I could be wrong, but there's one thing I'm not wrong about. There's one thing I'm more sure of than the sun is going to rise tomorrow, and it's this. Your eyes are the windows to your soul. Jesus once said the lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore, your eye is good, your whole body will be full of
light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. The fact is this guys, the eyes are the gates to the rest of the body. Whatever fascinates your eyes will soon gain admission into the heart. Are you imagining this right now? We'll picture this. In front of you is a vast
castle. The walls are 100 feet high, the stones that built it are removable, and surrounding the castle is a deep, swampy Moat. But the castle has one weak spot, one way of access, a small side door. And this is where 1000 men could enter in and claim the castle for themselves. Now, if the king of the castle knows about this single entry points, what should he do?
A wise king, a king with any common sense, would send all of his men, all of his resources down to that tiny side door to guard it, to keep the rest of the castle safe. So you know exactly what I'm going to say next. We all have one access point, a portal, a channel which determines whether the entire body is full of lights or full of darkness. Your eyes. So if you wanted to know where to focus your energies today, I would tell you to guard your eyes with everything you've got.
Some people have a habit of endlessly scrolling on their phones. Some people have a habit of watching hours and hours of television or Netflix. And some people have the habit of gazing at bigger houses, of gazing at expensive sports cars, or even gazing at other people. And they dwell on these things, believing that the grass is always greener on the other side.
So come on, guys. Are you one of those people who in one day, through these little portals, can invite 100, even 1000 tiny seeds of darkness into your heart? And these seeds will one day grow and you will reap what you sow By the way, I actually do cover this theme of reaping what you sow a whole heap on this channel. video, please do subscribe. OK, let's turn our attention back to Eminem, to Katy Perry, to Miley Cyrus and these other celebrities. While it felt like they could either be joking with us, pretending something bigger is happening, it's all stage. I don't know. But I do think there is one unavoidable conclusion that we can make about their eyes. And it's this. They are spiritually blind. And before you think, oh, he's judging, I too was once blind, but now I see.
But may I ask you a question? Are you spiritually blind or can you see the light? Because the truth is this, you're either on one side of the fence or you're on the other. There is no middle ground. There is no halfway house. You're either blind or you can see. And I want to say some very difficult things to both groups
of people. So today, if you can see the light of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you can see that this world is passing away like a misty field, if you can see that these celebrities are lost and they have built their treasures in this life, what they have right now down here is as good as it will get for them, because what awaits them in eternity is absolute misery and sadness. Can you see these things, please, right now, answer for me yes or no? Can you see it? OK, now answer this question.
Tell me, why then, are you impressed by their power, by their authority, by their fame? No one can answer this question but you. But if there were two tables in a canteen, Eminem was sat on one and a little elderly lady was sat on the other, which table would you choose to sit on? Why is it there are so many Christians who are impressed by riches, by fast cars, by mansions and followers when we know that we haven't got long left?
I praise God that I know some of you as I've asked that question genuinely, you would choose to sit on the table with that little lady over there. And yet some of you, you might choose to sit with Eminem because you want to share the gospel with him and tell him about how he could gain eternal life. But sadly, if many of us are totally honest, we would have allowed spiritual blindness to
creep into our soul. And we too want a slice of what the world can offer us today, rather than putting our eternal lens on and seeing whether the real treasure is the real treasure in paradise with the Lord Jesus Christ. And that's why we are so often impressed by celebrities and those who have fame and riches. But I can hear exactly what you're saying. You're saying, Joe, that's a bit rich coming from you. You love making videos about celebrities. You're always talking about
famous people. Well, if you are thinking that, I do have a response to your very valid claim, and if you'll give me a chance, I'll explain myself a little bit later on. However, at this point, I think it's important to address the other person in the room, the unbeliever. And as much as it might not be easy to admit this, the Bible says that you can't see the things of God because your life
is filled with darkness. You are more concerned with the things of this earth than the things of heaven. And if that's you today, what would I say to you? I'd say you need to look. I'd say you need to direct your eyes somewhere else. I'd say you need to look at Jesus to fix your eyes on the prize, because just one look will save you, as the hymn goes. Then look, Sinner. Look unto him, and be saved unto him who was nailed to the tree.
Look, look, look and live. There is life for a look at the Crucified One. There is life at this moment for thee. What do we mean by that? We mean we want you to see Him there, The Lord of all creation lifted up on a wooden cross, paying the penalty for your sin, your lies. Put him on that cross. Your greed, your pride, your anger. These sins put Jesus Christ on the cross and held him there until the price was paid with his very blood.
The very God who created the universe, humbled himself and took on a human body for this very purpose so that you be forgiven. And what does he ask for you in return? Does he ask you to give to charity and you'll be saved? No. Does he ask you to be a good boy or a good girl and you'll be saved? No. Does he ask you to memorize all the scriptures and you will be saved? No, no, no, no. All he requires of you is for you to look on Him and live.
See him as the Saviour, see Him as the risen Lord, see Him as the only way to heaven. And after seeing Him receive him, as Jesus Christ once said, behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with me. So will you do it? Will you open the door of your heart and let Jesus come in and fill your life with light because you're tired of living in darkness? I pray the answer is yes.
As I said, I'll address the big question. Why do I make videos on celebrities? Well, you've probably noticed since January 2023, I've made a lot less videos on celebrities as I've been enjoying making these video essays. For instance, on videos like the pyramids or the location of Eden or neon. But I know that we live in a world where people are spirit actually blind, and they do love celebrities.
And I too hope that these celebrities themselves, maybe they might just watch one of these videos and get saved. But as a fisherman, as a Fisher of men, I will use whatever bait is necessary, within reason, of course, but whatever bait I can to draw folks in so that they can hear the message which they need to hear the most, the message of the gospel.
And I also see nothing wrong with having a spiritual interest in some of these public figures, hoping that they too will one day come to Jesus Christ.
