Episode description

An Odyssey Sound Session with The Beaches.

The Beaches are currently one of the best bands out there. After more than a decade together as a band, sisters Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass) and Kylie Miller (guitar), alongside Leandra Earl (guitar and keys) and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums), have entered a new chapter with their album Blame My Ex. The lead single from the album ‘Blame Brett’ is an unapologetic, rebellious anthem that has amassed millions of streams and led to a sold out world tour. In this episode, Roxy speaks to Jordan about the 'Blame Brett' effect, how women are stereotyped when it comes to breakups, and the artists that inspired her songwriting on this album.
