Episode description

Duckwrth, born Jared Lee, is a genre-defying artist from South Central Los Angeles, known for fusion hip-hop, R&B, funk, punk and rock into his distinctive sound. Earlier this month, he released his third studio album, All American FckBoy*, a deeply introspective project that explores themes of identity, childhood trauma, and personal growth. This album marks a significant evolution in Duckwrth's artistry, showcasing a more vulnerable and confessional side of his music. Duckwrth has supported Billie Eilish, Anderson Paak and more on tour, and is currently playing a few headline shows in North America. In this episode Duckwrth speaks to Roxy about the songs that have both influenced his sound and style, and also specifically his new album.
