There are no words to describe what happens when my family comes on the podcast other than pure chaos. This week I'm joined by my sister, Raevyn Lunatik, and her daughter, Little Jae Sinclair. These are professional names of course. Raevyn, apart from being my oldest sister, is also a skater for the AZ Derby Dames and a personal trainer. She is here both for fun but also to announce the launch of LunatikFitness.com and her Lunatik Fit Camps. Little Jae Sinclair is a rising star in the Phoenix an...
Running through all the crap I had to do today that ultimately meant not getting any podcast work done aside from this little bit here. Of course the boys drop in, because boys. And Bug hovers around the mic like a creeper. New stuff coming, I promise. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Another room full of boys show. I tried to talk about all the stuff going on this week. Of course random sidebarsto the boys make that highly complicated. preview for episode 83: Week of Jackasses, every news story is going to be a solid contender for Jackass Of The Week. With all the chaos in the room I know it's a bit of a tough listen I'm sure. I'll see you tomorrow with Ep 83! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information....
I tried to talk about our day today and how one of our fish died. Instead I speant the majority of the time fighting off a horde of boys all wanting to get on mic. #parenting See you tomorrow! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Full show notes, links, and more at http://bit.ly/ODO82 I'm a whole new kind of sick this week, having woken up with a sinus infection, but that wont keep me down. This week I'm chatting about having recently moved our youngest son out of our bedroom at last. The news brings us tales of relationships, from finding a new boyfriend, to marriage complications, and all the way to "death do us part." The "Jackass of The Week" proves that it's never too early to get a good deal. Finally, I make a hard...
So sickness around the house gogt me behind on show prep so EP 82 is not out yet. BUT everything is ready to go to be out in the morning. Once again, apologies for my tardiness. My little sister asked me about subscribing to the show on Google Play Music. If you like the show, share it with your friends, share it on social. That's the best way to help me out here. I promise this time, EP 82 is coming tomorrow. Goodnight everybody! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information....
Today I was running late and decided I'm going to record run my drive to work. I cover a lot of just random thoughts going through my head. From being behind on my podcast subscriptions to trying out new shows to my view on how many shows does it take to write a review. And I wrap it all up thinking about what I'm going to do for episode 100 and when exactly that comes up for me. I'll see you tomorrow for episode 82. Hosted on Acast. Sorry I missed day 12, but I had a very busy day with other podcasting stuff and it just got to be too late. I'm coming out of my illness while my wife got to take it on herself, and now our 2 year old seems to be getting it as well. :-( Since I missed it in Ep 81, I shared one of 2 "Jackass of The Week" stories I had planned. This one involves a woman with a pool, a kid, and a minivan. Nuff said! Thank you to everybody for all the get well wishes, you're all awesome. (And because I'm dumb I did...
Like I mentioned in EP 81, my kids have gotten me sick. I missed my day 10 episode stuck in bed, but I was determined to not miss another. Today's question came from Emily from The Story Behind: "What's your favorite podcasting tip for people just starting out? I see myself as a bad example, but in simplest terms, I say just make your show. Make the show that you want to because that's how you're going to enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it than it's not worth doing. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/p...
After being kept up extra late with a couple sick boys, I'm getting sick myself, but "the show must go on!" After my sick boys chat, things turn toward my recent HOA "violation" and my twisted history with those. Oddly it all ends up back on landscaping for some reason. The news brings tales of mistaken identity, death threats, and a national emergency. In my sick brain I completely forgot to do the Jackass of the Week, but that's fine because I went extra long talking about this week's "Recomme...

Preview for Episode 81 Possible BS From The News Headlines This week's Recommended Listening Feature is "Podcasts We Listen To" Coming up in a few weeks I'll be joined by Raevyn Lunatic and Little Jae Sinclair for a nice family fun time chat. For Day 6 of National Podcast Post Month, I decided it would be fun to ask twitter for questions. Chris the Mole Man from the Couch Potato Files asked for the meaning of life. Tall order dude. But Heather, from Sunshine and PowerCuts, asked a great mix of questions. What's your favorite part of podcasting? What topic could you not podcast about? If you could be a guest on any show, which one? And my youngest son decided to crash the show right at the end. See you tomorrow. Hosted on Acast. See a...

Halloween has passed and we had fun taking the boys Trick-or-treating. We may not have gone to the most houses, but the boys definitely cleaned up in the candy department. In the news: it's all about the big money. From noise cancelling forks, to diamond encrusted stilettos, and even a guy claiming, the long dead, Sam Walton owes him money. For Day 2 of #NaPodPoMo I managed to screw up my entire main episode recording by not noticing that my microphone was muted. I recorded the entire first segment of the show as dead air, because I'm a jackass. That being said, the main episode for the week is now going to another day late, my apologies. After being challeneged by John from the Brand X Podcast, I'm going to try the #NaPodPoMo challenge to post a podcast every day for a month. I'll be doing little 4 minute segments about I don't know what yet. Day 1 I'm giving a peak at what I've got coming on this week's regular episode of the podcast. See you tomorrow! Hosted on Acast. In this pilot episode, listen as Adam and Reanna share personal ghost stories and share stories submitted from others. Thanks to Paul from "the Countdown Movie and TV Review Podcast," and Cara Nichole from the "Podcasts We Listen To" Facebook Group for their stories If you like the show, let us know so that we can make more. @odddadout on twitter or odddadout@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. What do I have in common with my dog? Both of us have had major weight shifts lately. On a similar note, almost all of this week's news is about breakfast food. I've got garlic coffee, cops confused by donuts, a shortcut to chicken and waffles, and a little "green" something to help your appetite. All that food left me with only one choice for this week's "Recommended Listening" feature: The RestauRant Podcast. Full show notes and news links at http://bit.ly/ODO79 -RECOMMENDED LISTENING- The Res...
I'm more than a little sleepy this week. On my 3 am drive home from work, my wife informed me that our 2 year old is sick. This meant I was up with him the whole rest of the night, clear up to recording time this morning. The news brings several women who seem to be "weird adjacent," including the return of the McDonald's Szechuan Sauce. The "Jackass Of The Week" left me with more questions than answers, and at long last This week's "Recommended Listening" feature goes to the Brand X Podcast. Fu...
People make bad decisions all the time. The subjects of this week's esteemed news stories range from just being ignorant to getting literally blinded by poor decision making. On a completely unrelated note, it's pie time at home! Ok, it's because I decided to let my wife order 30 lbs of apples, so I guess it does relate to bad decision making. Going back to being blind, this week's "Recommended Listening" features at least one guy who is legally blind. It's Big D and Little R, from the Bro-Ron's...
Since I didn't get to do a special episode for International Podcast Day on Sept 30th, I decided that I would spend this week just talking podcasting. In honor of his, long overdue, win in this year's Podcast Awards, this week's Recommended Listening feature goes to Dave Jackson and the School of Podcasting. - In the wake of the Las Vegas shooting, I had to take some time and get some things off of my chest. Some people, likely many, may not like what I have to say at some points. That said, you may want to stick it out til the end for the lesson, or just read it below because, just like a pencil, the point is at the end. - This week we had the deadliest mass shooting in American history. At the time I’m writing this, 59 people are reported dead, and well over 500 are injured. I'm not gonna mention ...
I'll admit it. I love cereal. I especially love those sugar cereals from my childhood. So when General Mills announced that they are going to give us back the original recipe Trix. I got really excited. How excited? Excited enough to devote an entire segment to breakfast cereal. This week's news brings a recall from Death Wish Coffee, a lawsuit from an armed robbery suspect, and a tie for J.A.W. with a couple a people too inebriated to function. As promised last week, this week's Recommended Lis...
Doing a segment shuffle this week. I decide to lead with the news, including: a brave proctologist, an artist's prank that people are still falling for, and a guy who wants a Masters Degree without any of the work. Then I go on a bit of a rant about my taste in alcohol, or more accurately why is it that people give me crap over not really drinking and never doing drugs. Finally, I wrap things up with A-hole number 6 (or is it 7?) Chris the Mole Man from The Couch Potato Files. -WEIRD NEWS- -Two ...
Part of my job as the daytime parent at home is going to school functions. Most annoying of these is parent/teacher conferences. Maybe I'm a little harsh on them, but I'll leave that for you to decide. In the News: Hurricane Irma hitting Florida brought out all sorts of crazies #BecauseFlorida. Plus, a few really dumb thieves, a jackass who wants to marry his computer, and a pizza guy who may be my new spirit animal on "The Pizza Podcast." -WEIRD NEWS- -Florida Residents Fight Against Hurricane ...
