Episode description

Joanne Taranto wears many hats and hoods … She’s a ‘Riverkeeper’ for the Parramatta River Catchment Group’, Director for ‘Good for the Hood’, and is Co-Founder of ‘5 for Ryde’. We talk about Jo’s first environmental education initiatives helping her local neighbourhood, through to working towards the lofty goal of making the Parramatta River swimmable again – and the importance of keeping environmental advocacy and awareness positive.
