Episode description

Dr Duan March is a veterinarian and Director of the Sea Turtle Foundation – a non-profit, non-government group based in Australia working to protect sea turtles through research, education and action.  Although too modest to admit it, Duan is a superstar – playing a key role in the rescue and rehabilitation of many sea turtles, including ‘Stumpy’. In this chat, we talk about key threats to turtles around the planet and how Duan and the Sea Turtle Foundation are working to mitigate these threats through rescuing stranded turtles, training others to respond to trainings, educational programs and supporting research.
