Episode Description Obesity medicine specialist and OMA clinical education director, Nicholas Pennings, DO, FOMA, Dipl. ABOM interviews William Dietz, MD, PhD, a keynote speaker from Overcoming Obesity 2019, about what is contributing to current childhood obesity and looking ahead to results of childhood obesity in the future. Topics covered include what has changed in regards to contributors to childhood obesity, access for physical activity opportunities, food choices in pregnancy affecting children's eating habits, and the role of schools and clinicians in improving obesity rates.
