Episode description

Welcome to Season 1 of the Nurses that Wow! Podcast

As nurses, we need to hear our own voices, and share our own stories now more than ever.  On this episode, we hear firsthand from a Nurse Practitioner on her experience working the frontline in New York City in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Esmeralda Ochoa, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC began her nursing journey in 2012 when she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.  She’s worked as an FNP since earning her Masters in 2019 and volunteered to work at the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

Previously recorded on April 29, 2020.  Contact Nurses that Wow! at [email protected] and follow us on IG (@NursesthatWow).
